Amazing Rental

We took our family vacation here summer of 2007. I have never stayed in such a beautiful and nice rental. We will for sure rent again in the future. This home has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Its a relaxing home. My favorite was the screened in porch!! I spent most of my mornings and nights sitting on that porch. This rental is for sure home away from home! The owners are super friendly people. I'd like to thank them for allowing us to rent their home. My family will never forget our first trip to Folly Beach!!! This home made our vacation perfect!

Enjoyable for the whole family

We rented this condo last summer and it was wonderful to have such a lovely space to stay. The condo is in a great area that allows not only a short walk to the beach and downtown (about 2 blocks) but also allows for crabbing/fishing off the private dock. We enjoyed it so much, we booked a week this summer as well! We had 6 people and there was plenty of elbow room for us, with 3 bathrooms making the clean up between the beach and dinner quick and easy! Thanks for offering such a wonderful vacation option for us!

Wonderful Experience

We visit Charleston 3-4 times per year, always using vrbo.com or homeaway.com to book all of our accommodations. This townhouse was one of the best properties we've ever rented. It's beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, and includes bikes. We enjoyed walking to Folly's restaurants, riding our bikes to the pier for a day of fishing, and 10 minute drives to downtown Charleston for sightseeing. We're hoping to rent this unit again for two weeks in August.

What a Relaxing Vacation!

My husband and I, plus another couple, recently stayed a week at this property. The Townhome itself is beautiful and very nicely appointed. Everything you need for your stay is provided, with the exception of personal care items as identified by the owners. The location is fantastic! Let alone the wonderful views, it was so great to be able to just park the car in the garage and walk everywhere. We also took advantage of the provided bicycles, and it was such a nice way to be able to see the area. We enjoyed each and every local restaurant that we ate at, and if you care to cook for yourself a grocery store is within easy driving distance. We all highly recommend staying here, and hope to be able to come back for another visit. There is so much to do in the area that we certainly didn't see it all!

We're back home after a beautiful week in your Water's Edge condo in Folly Beach, SC. You have a lovely, comfortable home, and Folly Beach is a relaxed, casual place. Nearly everything including restaurants and shopping was within walking or biking distance. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, bike rides, crab fishing, and just sitting on the screened porch enjoying a cup of morning coffee and the gorgeous marsh and river views with sailboats moored and fishing boats chugging out to sea. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a great vacation place.

This property was exactly as it was represented, beautiful and spacious with everything we needed. It was immaculate, had a great river view, and was perfect for some beach time as well as a short drive to historic downtown Charleston. The screened porch by the river was ideal for relaxing, having a morning cup of coffee, or just boat watching. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Charleston area, and hopefully my family can return soon.

If you want the perfect place to stay,rent Tim and Elizabeths townhouse.We stayed here for our 25th anniversary and had such a great time. Elizabeth recommends many restaurants for you and they were all very good! Walk to the beach or into town are both about 5 minutes. Drive to Charleston and enjoy all the shopping and great restaurants. Only took 15 minutes. This townhouse is in an ideal location to go anywhere in a short time. I must also comment that they have everything you will need and it is very very nicely decorated and very clean. Thanks for sharing your wonderful town house with us!! We hope to come back sometime soon!

Thank You Tim and Elizabeth for sharing your beautiful home with us! My wife, myself, and our two college age kids and their two friends had an absolutely wonderful time at Folly Beach ! The house was perfect for all of us. Ample room, all the comforts of home...just as described online. The beach was beautiful, the pool was the warmest pool any of us have ever been in and the town of Folly Beach itself kept us busy at night. We went to Charleston several times and it is honestly 15 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again if/when the next oppurtunity arises. We highly reccomend this home and this beach for your vacation...you wont regret it !!!

Two-Family Vacation

The property was well-maintained and just as it had been represented. The screened in back porch was ideal for reading. The kitchen was well equipped and wi-fi access is definitely a plus. The unit was large enough for 8 to sleep comfortably. The kids really enjoyed the pool and crabbing from the dock. Water's edge provides a great family atmosphere and you can walk to most anything you need or want. We enjoyed dining and live music at the Folly beach pier. The beach was lovely and not crowded during the weekdays and early morning and evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I came down to the Charleston area for our honeymoon. We had looked into other types of accomodations, but decided to rent this particular townhouse for the week due to the high-level of professionalism and organization of the owners. The whole process was easy and the pictures that are posted on the property description page ARE exactly what you will see. The townhome was very beautiful and quiet. The community was very quiet and the other residents were friendly and nice. For the money, the townhome was a much better value than a hotel because you get a lot more space, a nice garage with plenty of parking for multiple vehicles, and the convenience and closeness of Charleston-15 minutes flat down to the Charleston harbor. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole house was very clean and spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our time down in Charleston and would highly recommend this particular property without reservation. We were thrilled with the level of service and we would like to make a trip down to Charleston on a frequent basis because of our pleasurable experience.
