Incomparable 7-acre estate with designer décor, 10,000 sq. ft. of living space, luxurious amenities, pool and tennis court. This is my home, which I rent exclusively for the summer months. In the past it has been rented by several celebrities including John Travolta and Jennifer Capriati. It was also the location of a yet to be released feature film with Kristin Dunst, Ryan Gosling and Frank Langella.
This property emanates sophistication and grandeur as well as comfort and relaxation in the heart of Round Hill. Commanding breathtaking views the magnificent 2005 Georgian manor was designed by Robert Dean, AIA.

Location
Round Hill area in back country Greenwich is considered one of the most desirable residential communities in the country. Approximately 35 minutes from Manhattan, Greenwich offers beautiful parks and beaches, every recreational option close by, upscale shops and fine restaurants.

The kitchen is professionally equipped. It features Italian statuary marble counters, custom cherry cabinetry and 19th century English copper lanterns above the center-island. I am a Angel/Venture Capital investor and Managing Director of Golden Seeds LLC (Goldenseeds.com). We invest in Women Run Companies. Our current portfolio include: Crimson Hexagon, Artemis Woman, SweetRiot, Chromis Fiberoptics and Dry Soda among others. I have lived in Greenwich since 1985. In 2004 I tore down and rebuilt the home on this property, completing the project in 2006. It was a labor of love. I designed the estate to look as if it has been here many years, by studying Georgian Architecture, Mott Schmidt, Williamsburg and European homes of the period. It is authentic architecture, but also brand new. Thus there is amazing water pressure, air conditioning, heat, the fireplaces draw perfectly and all the wiring, and plumbing and structure is brand new. I kept four mill houses busy for a year. Because everything is new one never has to worry about things not working properly, and it has all the modern luxurious touches. No cost has been spared to create luxury living. I would love for you and your family to enjoy what I have created here.
Why the Owner Chose Greenwich
I chose this area because it is very close to New York City and all the city has to offer but is also has the complete feel of the country. When you are on this 7 acre property it feels like the country and guests have sworn they feel they are in the middle of Vermont, or deep in Tuscan countryside. Greenwich has gorgeous beaches and parks. Every recreation known to man or woman is available including all beach activities, golf, riding, skydiving; really anything you might desire to do. The services here are wonderful and we have really good restaurants. Rebecca's Restaurant is one of the best anywhere (google it) Rebecca is a close friend all will treat you like family if you are renting this home.
Of course you are never more than 45 minutes from New York City if you want your pick of some of the greatest restaurants in the world. Greenwich is a relaxed lifestyle but also very sophisticated. There is a large European Community here with more languages spoken than the UN! It is also close to all the things New York City offers; Broadway, The Philharmonic, Ballet, Metropolitan Opera as some of the best museums and galleries in the world. It really has the best of everything.
The Unique Benefits of this Estate
Greenwich is so convenient on many levels. It is particularly easy to get in and out of. In addition to proximity to New York and all the city has to offer, it is six minutes from Westchester County Airport and less than an hour to LaGuardia and JFK. Personally, I don't think there is much need ever to leave the property. The pool, tennis court, billiards, home gym gourmet kitchen, darkroom, darts and table tennis can keep both children and adults pretty happy without even getting in the car. But once you do get in the car you have the beaches, golf courses and a short trip to New York.
I love to sit out on the balcony off the master suite in the morning and sip my coffee from the Italian Espresso machine, look over the gardens, the pool and the tennis court and read the morning papers. Lest you worry, care of the grounds is included in the rental.
