I wanted to take a moment and thank you for letting us stay at Fawn Forest with our family and friends last weekend. We have been visiting Rumbling Bald Resort for the last 3 years and have stayed several properties and this beautiful home is by far our favorite. There was plenty of room for two families and children to spread out. Fishing off the dock and using the paddle boat was also a hit with our Children. We loved sitting out on your expansive deck. If you are looking for a clean recently built home on your next stay at Lake Lure, I would highly recommend this home. I also want to thank Tracy as she was more than accomadating for us. We had an issue with a renter who stayed in the home the night before we checked in and they decided to ignore the check out time and were still in the home several hours after check in. Tracy gave us advanced notice of what took place and went overboard to make sure we were happy. Thanks again and we look forward to our next stay at "Fawn Forest". Amy & Brian

Thank you very much for letting us use your beautiful cabin. We had a great time!! The cabing was very cleaning and the decor is charming. Lake Lure is a true hidden gem! This trip was perfect! We loved everythingwe did, created a million memories and relaxed!!

Thank You for sharing your beautiful home with us! Evverything was perfect, from the beautiful lake decor, the cleaniness, location and mouuntains. Our favorite spot was on the dock on the lake every morning with our coffee, to listen to the sounds of the lake. The crisp mountain air and the stream coming off the lake. The duckd were never far from your dock. Our boys kept saying thank you for a wonderful vacation! They spent every minute fishing and driving the paddle boat to their secret fishing spot. They caught trout, crappie and a turtle. It was nice for them to be away from the electronics and focus on nature. Also loved the amenities of the resort. Loved the the two tier decks and the amazing lake views! We will be back!!

Great Vacation with our son and 3 grandchildren. We love this great home and area. We went toSliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, Chimney Rock, GemMining, Tubing and lots of swimming and fishing and campfires and smores. The kids promised no cell phones, facebook, make-up or anything for the entire week. They had so much fun with-out it all. They want us to buy the house, they have voted it the BEST HOUSE on the lake!!

Our family had a wonderful, relaxing week at your cabin. The cabin is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, talking and looking at the amazing lake and mountain views. My boys ( 7 and 8) loved the paddleboat, fishing and game room. They thopught the bunk beds were pretty cool too! This has been a terrfic and memorable family vacation!

This has been a wonderful week at "Fawn Forest". My Nana came with my dad, 2 brothers and me. I've had the best time ever here in Lake Lure. I can't wait to come back next year. I went on a boat, swimming, kayaking and more for the first time. I hope that other prople that stay here have as much fun as we did!!

We had a wonderful time here in Lake Lure and at "Fawn Forest". We spent a lot of time watching movies in front of the fireplace, making smores, cooking out, laughing and having fun. We tried to go fishing and even took the paddleboat out. We went horseback riding and welcomed 2010 in with a bang! Overall a great time!

The Girls Trip of "09" Another great trip with friends and family brought us to a great day at the Biltmore Estates, winery and green house. Adventure was the plan for the and we continued on to zipline throught the beautiful forest of Bryson City, A MUST DO!! We enjoyed the resort and the spa. Thanks for renting your property, it is beautifully decorated and just a great place to stay Thanks so much!!

I left a 4 star hotel in Chicago where I had room service and the excitment of a wonderful city and then to come to the lake with my husband and 2 boys (6 and 8). What I learned is how wonderful it is to SLOW DOWN and love every second of each day. Room Service cannot compare toa grilled steak on your porch! We went to a wedding in Asheville, skiied on Lake Lure, went down the rapids on the Nantuhala and caught fish on your dock. We saw beautiful deer in the back yard and played cards in your gameroom. So everything was like a wonderful scene in a movie and I will not forget thiswonderful vacation we spent as a family. We cannot wait until next time!!

We had a great "Long Weekend" get-a-way with extended family. We caught nice bass and bream off the dock, cookout and went whitewater rafting. Very nice house and amenities.
