What a luxurious experience. We couldn't wait to get back to the River House after winetasting all day. Sitting out above the Russian River as the sun set, with a glass of Sonoma Petite Syrah, all our east coast tensions disappeared. Later, after cooking dinner, everyone enjoyed the redwood hottub and or sauna. Add to all this the finest linens, super-comfy beds, and the lonesome sound of cows from the high meadow across the river and we had all the ingredients for relaxation and fun. Thanks Jonathan for sharing your amazing home with us........it was the perfect 60th birthday trip.
