We had a wonderful time during our 2 months in Carla’s lovely condo at Futura Yacht Club. Carla was very pleasant and helpful. It was a real treat to walk in and find everything spotlessly CLEAN and well-maintained inside and out. We prepared most of our meals and found everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. It was handy having the elevator near the unit. Grocery carts are available for taking groceries and luggage up to the condo. Futura Yacht Club has the cleanest pool I’ve ever seen, thanks to Ron, the Property Manager. It is large enough to swim laps. You don’t need a boat to have fun at this “yacht club”. Most boats there were fishing boats. We had a great time even though we did not have a boat. We rented kayaks nearby at John Pennekamp and at Robbie’s where we saw a crocodile while kayaking through the mangroves! We brought our bicycles and rode nearly every day. Between bicycle paths and side streets, there are plenty of places to ride safely, avoiding the heavy traffic on the Overseas Highway. The only thing that was not absolutely perfect was the internet service which was sometimes a little slow, which seems to be the case everywhere in the Keys. But we didn’t go there to work—we went to relax and have fun -- and we did plenty of both! We strongly recommend Carla's condo! You couldn't ask for anything more. We had such a great time, it was really hard to leave.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed 5 nights in Islamorada in January. The condo was confortable and had everything we needed. Daily we enjoyed the pool on the property and also took in some stunning sunsets. All the conveniences of home but a warmer climate. We took in some of the great restaurants around town and found this a great spot to enjoy the Keys from.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

We stayed in the condo for 8 days. For the first few days, we had two of our adult children with us, and there was plenty of room for 4 adults in the unit. We love the location in the Keys and the security of staying at Futura, a gated community. Carla was very pleasant to work with and would definitely recommend her unit to anyone. We absolutely loved the location in Islamorada - the access to the Gulf was perfect, the marina was so convenient, and we had a great time. The condo was perfect for our family with all the necessary amenities. Ms. Carla was wonderful - told us exactly what we needed to get to her and she was very timely coordinating the paperwork. A real sweetheart. Our only complaint was there was no washer and dryer in the condo itself - you have to go down the hall to a single pair of coin operated machines. The photos of the condo are accurate, it was clean, well maintained. If you have a boat, this property is perfect - the marina allows you to come in from a day of fishing, clean with fresh water right in your slip, and charge batteries with the electric hookup. Bonus was the three manatees that hung out in the marina all week - they were awesome! You must eat at Lazy Days and Ma's Fish Camp (for the Key Lime Pie alone!). There are plenty of things to do in Islamorada and you never even really have to leave that key. We ventured to Key West, but was disappointed in the tourist trap it has become. We are just a family looking for fishing, good food, and fun times. We found the condo perfect for us. Found everything we needed except BBQ equipment but we managed!!!! I only wish the BBQ's were closer to the condo but other than that, I can't complain about anything. It was perfect for 4 adults and our boat. We spend every day out on the boat; it was very convenient to get to the ocean side. There was plenty to do, very close by. Our favorite restaurant was the Whale Harbour Inn, seafood buffet, bring your appitite!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+.

I had a fantastic 8 day vacation with my sons in the Keys. We chose Carla’s condo because of the good reviews, which are accurate, and we were not disappointed. We felt very secure because of the security gate. From the beginning, Carla was very accommodating, friendly and considerate. The condo was very clean, and had more amenities than expected. We spent time in the nice clean pool almost everyday, and it was large enough to swim lapses. There is also a fish cleaning station was lights and electrical outlet which we used when we caught fish in the pier. We even saw a manatee with her baby one morning and one of us hooked up to a good sized nurse shark. The cabanas were also great for relaxing and have cool drinks. We also made a couple of trips to Key West shopping for souvenirs. Thanks again Carla, for your hospitality and making our vacation fun, enjoyable and memorable.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We visited the condo while friends stayed in another condo in the complex. Both families had boats and it was nice to have a place where we could launch and keep the boats while we were there. It is a beautiful, well kept property. The gated community feels very safe and secure. The condo is clean and very family friendly. There was everything that we needed and more. The property owner was very accomodating and nice. The pictures are truly representative of how nice the property is. Some of our favorite times were grilling freshly caught fish down on the "beach" of the marina and watching the sunsets. One day while the men went out lobstering and fishing we took the toddlers to Founder's Park Beach (just a mile away). We also enjoying exercising there as there is a great fitness trail. It has two playgrounds and a pool as well. Although we preferred the nice, private pool at the condo complex. Our favorite restaurants in the area were the Island Grill and the Islamorada Fish Company. We also found a new breakfast place that we enjoyed, Made 2 Order. It was not our first visit to this nice condo and we hope to go back again many times.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo met my family's needs perfectly. The pool, beach area, and most of all location was excellent. The condo was extremely comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend this place to friends and family. Its quiet too which was very important to us. You should see us again next year! A Key West day trip was only an hour and half drive from this spot. "Robbies" offers the best hospitality for charter fishing and snorkeling. We didn't want to come home. My family has stayed at this location several times over the past 10 years and will continue to come back. The condo is always very clean and well maintained. There are 2 good sized bedrooms with their own bathroom and the sofa converts into a bed as well, so our family of 5 fits very comfortably. Our boys love to swim at the pool and fish in the marina. There are often manatees swimming in the marina for them to watch as well. My husband and I love to pull up a lounge chair and enjoy the breath taking view of the sun setting into the turquoise waters of the bay, surrounded by palm trees and seagulls. It is truly paradise! This location also offers great fishing in the bay and the Atlantic. If you bring a boat, there is a ramp and slips (a short walk from the condo) can be rented, for all of your fishing, tubing boating fun. Use caution entering and exiting the Futura marina as it does get shallow there (as low as 2-3 feet) at low tide. The location is convenient to grocery store, restaurants and activities (Theater of the Sea, Robbie's Tarpon feeding and John Pennekamp Preserve for snorkling). This is a great condo, very convenient location. Far enough into the Keys to be on a real vacation, not so far that it takes all day to get there. The condo is very clean, very nicely decorated, quite comfortable. We loved hanging out at the pool and walking out past the marina to the private beach area to watch those famous Keys sunsets! Absolutely gorgeous!! Close to diving, kayak rentals, great marina if you have a boat. My husband, our adult son, and I enjoyed one week in this Very Clean and Roomy 2 BR condo, with the balcony overlooking the gardens/tennis court area to the north. The photos are good indicators of the unit; the marina, pool, and bay side beach chairs convenient and great places to walk or relax in the sun. We slept soundlessly on the master BR FAB bed!! The complex was very quiet during our stay, and seemed very safe. Nearby MM88 restaurant has excellent lunch, dinner, or casual menus served outside on the bay (or inside), with an ocean/sunset view. During our stay, we both dove out of Key Largo (north) and visited the Marathon (south) area. Islamorada was nicely located between both.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

What a wonderful place to stay and such a great area. Thank you for opening up your condo to us. We loved the tennis courts, pool and great marina. The gated community really made us feel safe and that we did not have to worry about leaving anything in the car or outside. We walked down to the marina every night for the most fantastic sunsets. We even cooked dinner down there one night, it was perfect. Our boys stayed down there and fished until very late and we knew they were safe and having fun. Our vacation went by way too quickly. We just loved staying in your wonderful condo. We found everything thing so comfortable, neat, clean and well appointed. We hope to come back soon.
