Year Purchased: 2001
Timothy and Victoria Weaver are retired educators. They settled in Newburyport 35 years ago while working at Boston University. The Weavers have been involved in real estate and rentals for more than 30 years. They have been innkeepers for the past 15 years. They also own a vacation rental in Key West where they spend the bull of the year.
Why the Owner Chose Newburyport
Newburyport began a transformation 35 years ago from a sleepy coastal town to a vibrant tourist center just 35 miles north of Boston. The beautiful downtown is a living history of 19th century ship building and commerce. Now filled with cafes, shops, museums and galleries, the downtown's historic properties are once more buzzing with activity. The Weaver's vacation rental is a short walk from the downtown and revitalized waterfront.

This is a step back in history with all of the amenities of modern life. The original windows and Indian shutters tell visitors of life in the 18th century. The apartment is very cozy, warm and welcoming to families.
