After you enter the gates of the Arrowhead community you drive to the heated garage and proceed by elevator to your beautifully designer furnished 2 bedroom plus loft condominium.
For winter visitors, you are within easy walking distance of the Arrowhead lift that will transport you to the slopes of Arrowhead. From there you also have access to the slopes of Bachelor Gulch and Beaver Creek. I prefer Arrowhead. Less people and green/blue groomers are perfect for our family. At the end of the day, you can lounge in the hot tob or pool. Your dinner options include eating in the full kitchen or picking one of the fine restaurants that the Vail Valley is famous for. From fast food to amazing cuisine, you decide.
For summer visitors, you have all of the activities that the mountains have to offer. You can hike to ghost towns, beautiful vistas, the golden aspens or spring mountain flowers, ride the paved paths of Summit and Eagle counties on your bike or hit the mountain paths for an exciting ride. You can fish the cold streams for trout, sightsee, golf, play tennis. River raft and four wheel drive jeep tours will pick you up at your door. You can shop for clothing, jewelry, antiques, furniture, sports equipment or office supplies. Interstate 70 can take you from the upscale shopping of Vail Village to big box stores in nearby Avon.
Another big feature is that we also own the 2 bedroom condo plus loft immediately next door. See VRBO #162126. If you are interested in renting both units, let us know. It works great for two families to be together but also have their own space. You have available beds for 12, 4 full bathrooms, 2 full kitchens etc. Large groups are welcome.

Beautiful Decor and Great Location

We stayed in this unit in the summer. The location was near several sight-seeing and shopping destinations. The The area around the condo is beautiful. It was easy to find. The garage below the unit was a convenient feature. There were 3 adults and 4 children in our party and we had plenty of space for sleeping. The living area was spacious and could accommodate all of us. On the other hand, with two sleeping areas up (one bedroom and loft) b and one down, getting a little space from each was possible too. We had plenty of room in the kitchen to stock a pantry and prepare meals. The kitchen also had a bar for extra dining seating. The decor was attractive and the furnishings were very comfortable. The addition of a laundry was convenient. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub was nice too. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend it for a family or a set of friends.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

This property was so much more than we expected! It's so close to hiking, cycling and walking trails and if you love to fish that's handy too. With Vail less than 15 minutes away, and Beaver Creek a 5-minute ride we had top-rated dining, great shopping and incomparable scenery right at hand. The unit is beautifully decorated and was impeccably clean. It's even better than the photos! The kitchen is well stocked so we didn't have to worry about whether or not we'd have a blender or vegetable peeler - everything we needed to prepare meals was right there. Three women shared the space for a mini-reunion and nobody got in another's way. There's plenty of bathroom counter space and cozy, comfortable beds and bedding. We highly recommend this condo and can't wait to stay there in the winter to ski these mountains. It comes with underground parking so we won't have to worry about scraping snow and ice off the car in the mornings. We loved Glenwood Springs as a day trip, but mostly hiked the trails, enjoyed the dining and scenery and spent time catching up with each other in the beautiful condo at the end of each day.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
