Our stay at this condo was GREAT! We had been to Destin only once and this time that we went was awesome! The beach was literally across the street it took about a 2 min walk :) the condo had enough room for a party of 6 and was very cleaned and quiet.Kaye also had beach chairs and accessories for the beach! Cant wait to come back soon!!

This was our second trip to Destin. Both times we stayed in a condo. This was, by far, superior. It was very clean, roomy, beds were comfortable and the view was nice. Last time we thought we would put an air mattress on the floor in the second bedroom - no way, there was hardly room to walk around the bed. This condo has large bedrooms with plenty of closest space. The beach, of course, is beautiful. The water is clear, and the sand is clean and white. Being that it's a private beach it was much less crowded the areas near by us. The pools and grounds are kept up immaculately. One of the pools was even large enough for my son to swim laps. We enjoyed the lighted tennis courts and nearby grills. Kaye even has a supply of beach chairs, toys, etc in the closet.

We live in Missouri, so my husband decided to take me to a beach for our 1st anniversary. The only time I had been to a beach was about 30 years ago and it was for senior trip in Daytona. He knows that the water has to be like I'm swimming in a pool, so he decided the best place would be Destin. We found Kaye's condo on the Home Away website and the pictures she posted was perfect! We showed the pictures to our closest friend couple and they decided they want to go with us!! We immediately booked the condo and when we arrived, we feel in love with the Amalfi and Kaye's condo. The beach is across the street and the weather was perfect!! We ate at Hog's Breath and AJs. AJs is the best place to go if you want to view the sunset somewhere else other than the beach. If you like oysters, they have the best deal in town- a dozen for $6.95 during happy hour. Kaye was the best!! We have told everyone if you want to go to Destin, to stay at Kaye's condo at Amalfi. We definitely we will return and plan on staying at Kayes again. Thanks Kaye for making our 1st anniversary trip one will remember forever!!!!

We have stayed at many places in Destin and this was by far the best. It was clean, spacious, and had a great location. The view was wonderful to wake up to each day. The walk to the beach was easy and the pools were wonderful. Having underground parking close to the elevator made packing and unpacking the car very easy. Kitchen was well stocked, and I can't say how clean the unit was. Owner is super to work with, easy to get in touch with and very informative prior and after your visit. This is close to everything, restaurants, shopping, you name it. You can not go wrong renting this unit. We can't wait to book our next vacation.

We have vacationed in Destin area at least 10 times and have stayed in the Miramar Beach most of the time. We have stayed in condos and houses in all price ranges. This two bedroom @ Amalfi Coast was the best value so far. The unit was clean and well stocked. The location is great and you have a view of the beach and ocean as soon as you walk in the door. The two pools are well cared for and not crowded. The grounds are immaculate and were landscaped daily. Pictures do not do the size of the unit justice, as the bedrooms and closet space are excellent.Accomodates 6 very comfortably. Overall, a great place for a relaxing vacation. The owner is very easy to work with and ready to answer any questions.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at this condo. The condo was very well maintained. It was clean and very spacious. The location was perfect to me. It was close enough to all of the attractions without being right in the heart of the busiest part of town. We would sit on the balcony in the evenings and listen to the fountain in the pond. We found it very relaxing and beautiful. I would recommend this condo to a freind, in fact I already did while I was down there. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Destin. The owner was a pleasure to work with and took care of every detail. Thanks for such a great place to stay!

Me and my new wife spent 6 days in this condo had had a wonderful peaceful honeymoon. Just a 5 minute walk to the private beach, and 5 minute drive to nearby eateries we never went to far from the condo. The condo is very roomy. It was only the 2 of us but we are considering coming back with another couple and their children. It was very clean and there was no noise from any of the nearby rooms. The pool was clean and the covered parking was very nice. I highly recommend this condo and will probably be staying here again.
Owner response:Thanks for the great comments. We love having honeymooners starting their new life with us. There is plenty to do in the area but also a chance to relax and catch your breath after the hecticness of the wedding. Our cleaner always works hard to make sure everything is clean. We are delighted that you are already planning to come back! Kaye

What a great place for a family vacation. It's not in the heart of Destin, but only a little off the beaten path and convenient to everything you need. The room is fantastic...clean and neat, easy walk to the ocean with a nice view. The pools are wonderful with plenty of space and great for the family!

It was a pleasure to stay at this condo. The description provided us by the owner concerning layout and amenities was spot on as the Brits would say. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The king size beds were terrific after a hard day of lazing in the sun. The location of this unit was perfect for sight seeing, shopping, eating and of course just across from the beach or a short ride to Henderson State Park or Elgin beach. We really enjoyed the fact that we could watch the morning sun come up but not worry about the sun beating down on us all day since the unit faced east. We had friends visitng us from Germany and this was their first experience in an "American Condo" and they were envious. Being retired military, we have had the opportunity to stay in a variety of places all over the world and we must say that this stay will be ranked among the best. The owner was there for us no matter how trivial our concern and made our stay that much better. Our friends from Germany are taking information back to other friends in Europe and will be recommending that they consider this location and in particular this unit when thinking about coming to Florida. Destin is a great location. We were lucky enough to come during the Seafood Festival and had a terrific time. If eating out is your bill of fare than you are in the right spot. From very casual to high end, it is all within a 10 minute drive, at the most. If you prefer to "rough it" in the unit, there is a nearby Publix or Wynn Dixie or in our case the Eglin Air Force Base Commissary. Either way, you won't go wrong. Bottom line....We will keep this owner and this unit in our address book for future visits to the Emerald Coast.

We truly enjoyed staying in this nice, clean condo at the Almalfi Coast Resort. It has two king size beds as well as a sleeper sofa that sleeps two. It was very cleaned and the property was well maintained. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions or concerns that we had. Everything was just as they said. The condo was decorated very beachy, Quite Nice!! We loved being able to sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins swim in the ocean as well as a view of the two pools. We liked getting into a cool car that was parked in the covered garage. Our favorite restaurant was The Back Porch. You must try it. We also grilled out by the pool one evening and it was fun! The shopping outlets were good too! We hope to come back in the Fall. Awesome place to stay!!.

This was our second stay at Amalfi Coast Resort and we loved it again. The condo was spacious for our family of four. We love the two pools that never seem to be overly crowded. Some nights our family even had an entire pool to ourselves. Great view of the ocean and short walk across the street to the private beach access. We walked down the beach to look around and realized just how lucky we were to have the private beach that wasn't crowded like many of the other places. The location of the Amalfi Resort is great. You are within minutes of grocery stores, outlet mall shopping and great places to eat. Kaye was fabulous to deal with and promptly retuned phone calls and emails answering any questions we had. We would definitely return!

My family and I have been coming to Destin for 25 years. This is the best place we've been in yet. It is very clean, comfortable, and just across the street from the beautiful beach. The view was one of the best as well. With two large pools, it was not crowded. The one thing my family liked was the BBQ grills. Although we did eat out a few nights, the grills came in handy when we wanted to stay in and cook. Many of the other condo places do not have them. This condo is close to the shopping outlet and golf course as well.

Pictures of condo and view of beach do not do it justice! The condo was very spacious, clean and accomodating. The beach is a short walk across the road, and great shopping only a few minutes away. We were close to kayak rentals and parasailing. The pool is also very clean and close. Kaye is great to work with too. You will not regret choosing to stay here! We know you'll enjoy it as much as we did!

This condo was in a perfect spot off Miramar Beach. It was a quieter area. The beach is a private, gated access area. You are not on top of other beachgoers, kids, umbrellas & noise. It is very private feeling. Plenty of beach area to enjoy, too. The walkway from the condo to the beach, just across the street, is perfect, NOT far at all. Some places you rent you walk through weeds and bugs and a makeshift walkway to the beach. This is NOT what you will find here. It is like walking the yellow brick road to the beach in the condo area, then you cross a paved walkway with a pedestrian crossing light. The condo itself felt large and clean. The closets were spacious enough that someone could've seriously slept in there with a blow up mattress. The kitchen was big and living area felt comfortable. The couches were soft and comfy. We really appreciated the washer & dryer for clean towels every so often. You can see the pools, fountain and walkway from the condo, as well as the ocean. These tiny frogs sing each night to talk to one another and serenade you, too. It was lovely! You can walk up the paved walkway to the beach store for rafts, flips or trinkets. You can walk to rent scooters, too. This walkway is great for jogs, rollerblading, biking, you name it. The pools were a nice treat after being at the beach all day, and lighted tennis courts are a plus for use at night when it is cooler. I enjoyed not having a ton of young children running up and down the hallways in the morning, playing in the elevator and screaming through the pool area. Although we saw some families with children, I would say the crowd here was more grown up. There were teenagers we played beach volleyball with and lots of families, but I never noticed noise... and liked it! You are close to a Winn Dixie and Publix is not far, either. Several great dining spots are just right up the beach. We love the Crab Trap, enjoyed Captain Dave's, and several places on into Destin. Check out Another Broken Egg in the Baytowne Wharf. This location is not as packed as the one in Destin, and shopping and dining here is fun, too. Great people watching and they often have fireworks at night! Lunch or brunch at the Water Grille in Destin is fun. Great boat watching here. You can rent jet skis or shop in this area, too. Brunch is on Sundays only. Lunch is great. The mini garlic bread loaves are yummy! A perfect vacation spot & Kaye couldn't be nicer!
