Greetings. I am an artist and writer, and this is my home. I invite you to be my guest when I am away, roaming the countryside in my camper in search of new material for my work.
Since this home is tailored to the creative/romantic spirit, I want to extend my warm welcome to couples or singles only! I particularly welcome artists and writers who are in search of serenity and inspiration.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUIET WORKPLACE OR A ROMANTIC GETAWAY WITH COMPLETE PRIVACY, THIS IS THE PLACE! COUCHED ON THE WESTERN SHOULDER OF PIKES PEAK, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE HERE THE MOST INCREDIBLE SCENERY AND TRANQUILITY IMAGINABLE.
And if you want outdoor activity to enhance your stay, you can walk or bicycle back roads for miles right outside my door. You are also only 10 minutes from national forest and state wildlife area trailheads.
This home has everything you are likely to need for a quiet getaway. It is warm, comfortably furnished, and artistically decorated. The kitchen is nicely equipped, and with views from the dining table simply spellbinding, a cup of coffee or a glass of wine become special events. After the sun goes down, relax in the rustic living room with a cozy gas fireplace, listening to music from a diverse CD collection or enjoying movies from an eclectic video library.
Even the bedroom offers a mountain view without raising your head from your pillow! The queen-sized bed is deliciously comfortable, and a large closet and ample drawer space should accomodate all your needs.
But maybe the best part about this home is that you can have it both ways here. You will enjoy the serenity of mountain living, but you will not have to travel far to the many attractions and adventures the area has to offer. Cripple Creek, a gold-mining town set among magnificant mountains, is only 20 minutes away and offers fascinating history, excellent and very affordable dining, live theater, and gambling. If you enjoy adventure, the Royal Gorge, approximately 45 Minutes away, offers hot air balloon rides, white-water rafting, helicopter tours, train rides with dining included, and so much more. Nearby Woodland Park (the "City Above the Clouds") only 20 minutes away, also provides unique shops and dining, and is where you will find grocery shopping, drug stores, a movie theater, and medical facilities including a hospital.
It doesn't get much better than this.... which is why I have chosen to live here! And I would love to have you as my guest.
