Professionally decorated, the living room sectional is great for entertaining or watching television. Open kitchen/dinning area seats 6 at the table and counter will accommodate another 5. Kitchen has all appliances and equipment for gourmet dining. The sun room offers a quiet space to relax and read the Sunday paper while enjoying the herons that visit the pond. Or, crank up the surround sound system and watch your favorite movies on the 48" flat panel TV in the media room.
The large master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and views of the lagoon. Soak away in the large jetted tub in the master bath, basking in the light from an over sized skylight. Your guests will sleep well in the queen bed in the mirrored wall second bedroom. The attached bath has a marble and glass shower with deluxe shower head and hand held wand. The 3rd bedroom, also has a queen bed, built-in maple cabinets, private entrance, views of lagoon and a half bath.
The large slate patio is ideal for outdoor dining and entertaining. Cook on either the gas fired grill or the charcoal kettle cooker. Sit at the table and listen to the two bubbling fountains that flank the steps down to the yard. You can pass some time throwing a line into the water, but watch out for the gators. Really.

Year Purchased: 2002
Barb and I live in Charleston where we have our businesses. We moved here some 20 years ago because we both grew up living close to the beach and enjoying the ocean. We are able to that here and in Pawleys Island. Our grand kids also love to go to the beach when they come to visit us.
Why the Owner Chose Pawleys Island
Barb and I purchased this property as a weekend retreat with a view to some day retiring here. The home is wonderfully comfortable, livable and relaxing. The setting is truly idyllic. The area offers world class golf, fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities. Pawleys island beaches are among the finest in South Carolina. Reading a book while watching the tide roll out is a favorite activity. There are lots of fine restaurants nearby, along with shopping and entertainment. Brookgreen Gardens has some of the countries finest sculptures on display in a beautiful outdoor setting. Finally, Charleston, with all it has to offer, is little more than a hours drive south.

Relaxation. The tensions and pressures of everyday life drain away the moment we walk through the door. Shortly afterward we're of to the beach for some sun, swimming, and enjoying the latest summer beach read.
