Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has the most incredible views of the main channel at Smith Mountain Lake. We love to have our morning coffee on the screened porch and watch the mist rise off the water. The long views however are just as stunning from the wrap-around leather sofa in the living room.
With two TVs and an xbox full of games we can stay in or walk down to our covered boat slip to spend a day on the water. The Waterfront community is one of the premier country club communities at the lake and the location to activities is convenient. Bicycling or walking within the property is safe and beautiful. The Town Center with shopping, movies, restaurants and kid friendly activities is a short drive away.
We love to drive over to the BlueRidge Parkway for the scenic drive as well as find numerous vineyards, wineries and orchards along the way. Some days we enjoy going into Roanoke, only a 45 minute drive, to visit the new art museum and farmers market but our favorite activities revolve around beautiful Smith Mtn. Lake. We feel very lucky to have this lovely lakeside retreat.

Year Purchased: 1998
Living in Florida for some time we missed the seasons and the mountains. When our son married and settled in Roanoke we wanted to have a fun retreat nearby for our vacations. We fell in love with Smith Mountain Lake, the Waterfront community and its ideal location for access to golf, shopping and many of the lake activities. The view from the condo and our own covered boat slip made this get-away perfection. We love every minute we are there and call it our own "golden pond".
Why the Owner Chose Moneta
This small group of condominiums sits on a beautiful pointe overlooking Smith Mountain Lake. The private community is conveniently located close to the Town Center, movie theatre, restaurants and activities at "the bridge". We bring our boat and with our own covered slip being on the lake is always fun.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
We enjoy golfing, boating, fishing and swimming and love to head out to the BlueRidge Parkway for a drive or to visit a winery. Taking our boat over to one of the restaurants on the lake for dinner is always a fun treat.
