Lovely Crow's Nest Cottage in Wauwinet just two hundred yards over the sand dunes to the private ocean beach and a 5 minute walk down sandy paths to the bay. Light, bright and newly renovated for summer 2008.
Enter from front porch into living room, kitchen, and dining area with door to deck. Master bedroom is on the left off the living area with private bath.
Two additional bedrooms to the right off the living area share a full bath. Pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Why the Owner Chose Nantucket
Wauwinet is a special part of the island. A bit quieter than some other neighborhoods, the low-traffic dirt roads and the private beach make Wauwinet a wonderful place for families or those looking for a truly relaxing vacation. Nantucket being the size it is, though, the bustle of town is always just a short bike ride or drive away.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Recently renovated in 2008, Gudgeon is a gorgeous little cabin with two full bathrooms and three bedrooms. One of the best things about Crows Nest is that not only do we have beach access, but the bay -- warmer, smoother water and lots of space for boating and swimming -- is also just a short walk away. After a day at the beach, I like to rinse off in the fully-enclosed outdoor shower before taking my lunch and a book onto the back porch.

My family and I have been coming to Nantucket for three generations now, and I have always had a particular fondness for our cottage in Crows Nest. When I come to Nantucket, I am looking for someplace to catch up on my reading list and enjoy the mild weather, which is perfect for pleasures such as bike riding and sailing.
