You'll love this tranquil retreat in a wooded setting. Only electric-powered, or man-powered boats are allowed on the lakes, thereby maintaining an enjoyable and peaceful vacation. This chalet is on a small (quiet) section of a large lake. Take the 17' canoe from the private beach and paddle out into the large part of the lake in no time.
Although quiet and relaxing, you'll also find there is quite a lot to do. Relax on the deck while listening to music, or work on your laptop computer. Sit on the private beach next to a fire enjoying the lake and wildlife. The Innsbrook pool is within walking distance (1/2 mile) and overlooks beautiful lake Aspen. A one-mile walk along gravel roads brings you to the restaurant and golf course. A short drive will bring you to the stables where you can watch or ride the horses. Additional fees are required for golf and horseback riding, but there is plenty to do for free as well.
This is a smaller chalet perfect for a cozy family retreat. In addition to the two bedrooms and two full baths it has a full kitchen, living/dining room, loft and comfortable screened-in porch.

June, July, August Rates: Weeknights $225/night, Weekends $250/night
Pet Fee $15/night (Maximum of Two Animals).

Pontoon boat optional, additional $75 per day.

Year Purchased: 2007
Eric and Diane Moyerman. We have been married about four years and live in Webster Groves, Missouri. We both love the outdoors. We have two great dogs. Freddi is a mutt, ahem, I mean mixed breed (but cute as can be) and Cocoa is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Cocoa LOVES to fetch sticks from the lake. She'll get in the water even when it's icy cold - I don't know how she does it...
Why the Owner Chose Innsbrook
Innsbrook is only 45 minutes from St. Louis. Many of our friends go to the Ozarks, but we prefer Innsbrook because it's closer. Also there are two large lakes (and about 80 medium and small lakes) however there are no gas-powered boats - that means it's quieter, and in my opinion much safer. The scenery is BEAUTIFUL, and the people are so friendly. There are wonderful people of all ages there. It's a wonderful family retreat.
Although this chalet is modest in size, it is on 150-acre Lake Aspen. This makes it possible for us to take the canoe or pontoon boat from our quiet dock and travel easily out onto the larger part of the lake. We prefer the cozy, more intimate feel of the two bedroom chalet. Although the Chalet feels private, we are quite close to the pool and golf course, so we don't feel isolated at all. Everyone waves as they pass; it's such a friendly place!
The Unique Benefits of this Chalet, Cabin
We love to visit our vacation home; our favorite activities are sitting by a fire at our beach, and swimming in the pool on a hot day. Visiting Innsbrook during the week is especially nice because the pool is not at all crowded. It's so peaceful and beautiful there! Saturday nights are also a lot of fun when they sponsor bands and movies.
