The property is located at 7701 Ivanhoe Ave East in the Village of La Jolla. The location is in a very upscale residential neighborhood that is easy walking distance to all that the Village of La Jolla has to offer (Beaches, restaurants, museums, art galleries, night life, shopping).
1 Bedroom with a Queen size bed, full bathroom, kitchenette with coffee maker, microwave, sink, compact refrigerator. Desk in bedroom with wireless internet connection. Original paintings by local artist Fay Richert.
Living room has a full size bed (not a sofa bed), new carpet, a large leather couch and leather love seat, cable TV, DVD player, free local calls . The entire suite with bedroom and living room is approximately 700 sq. ft. Original art work by local artists.
Large patio deck has Spanish pavers (400 sq. ft. approximately), grill and table for relaxing after a day at the beach. There is a large umbrella and outdoor gas heater to make sure you are comfortable regardless of the weather.
The location is 3 blocks from world class shopping, restaurants, art galleries and museums on Prospect St. and Girard Ave. Beaches, Scripps Park, The Seal Rookery, and the Cove are all within easy walking distance. We provide 2 beach chairs, beach towels and cooler for your use while staying at the Casita.

I travel to La Jolla several times a year for work and always try to find a small place through VRBO rather than staying in a hotel. The Spanish Casita was perfect for me. The outdoor patio is simply fabulous...I can't wait to go back when the days are longer as it was always dark when I got off work, and this patio would be the perfect place to hang out after a long day of work when the days become a little longer. The bed in the living room was so comfortable and the linens and pillows were fabulous! The location was perfect...I didn't rent a car...everything was within easy walking distance...work was close by as well as all of the great resturants on Prospect Street. Many thanks to Yvonne and Eric for a great stay in La Jolla.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful casita in early December. The whole town was decorated for Christmas and the shopping and dining were amazing! We loved staying in the Spanish Casita because it was so close to everything, we walked everywhere and the amenities were perfect for our visit. We barbequed and enjoyed our dinner and wine on the beautiful deck as well as lazy afternoons reading in the sun. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting La Jolla!

The place was perfectly situated in walking distance to all of La Jolla Village. The unit was also extremely clean and comfortable and loaded with character. Everything you could need plus a huge private patio to enjoy beautiful CA. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Casita last summer 2009 with our two boys. We had such a nice time.... a comfy bed was set up for the kids, there was a nice kitchenette that had all we needed (or Yvonne and Eric were so quick to get us what we needed!). Just a wonderful place with GREAT outdoor space. We would definitely return. Owners are great people, the accommodations are wonderful, and they have the nicest dog! Thumbs up for sure.
