  We had a short stay over Spring Break, but enjoyed the time. The house sits high over the lake with a nice view. There is a dock to launch our kayaks. The house was very clean and had all the towels, plates, pots etc. we needed. It has Wi-Fi, a DVD player and TV with a HMDI connection, if you want to connect your own laptop. It is close to many sites around San Marcos and New Braunfelds. We would look to rent again. Also, the owner was very prompt in answering all our questions.

  Wow! … what a wonderful retreat. Close (7 miles from New Braunfels and about 5 from Sequin, and 30 miles from San Antonio), this is a very nice waterfront property. The exterior is spacious. The front yard extends for about a city block through a pecan orchard. The back yard has terraces down to the lake. There are 43 concrete steps, ,with a hand rail, down to the dock which has 2 jet ski ramps and a boat slip. It is just beautiful to fish, sunbathe, or read on the dock. There are several chairs and a glider on the dock The inside is well equipped to handle a family outing. The master bedroom has two queen-sized beds in a beautiful spacious room overlooking the lake. There is a full bath with tub and lots of room in the walk in closet. There is an additional closet for storage of linen and towels. The second bedroom is also pretty large overlooking the lake with two double beds and a fold out single. Lots of storage there too. Televisions on local antennae are available in the bedrooms. The Living area is large overlooking the lake with multiple sliding glass doors. There is a nice sized dining area in the family areas with a large fireplace. There is a hide a bed sofa in this area. There is also a television equipped with a Time Warner tuner and a DVD player.along with a boom box type setup for music. The kitchen is well stocked with a large refrigerator/freezer, small oven, microwave, stove top burners, toaster, coffee-maker, and all the utensils/cooking apparatus you need. There is plenty of silverware, china and serving dishes. The owner Jim, is very easy to work with and the property managers are always nearby. This is a well-organized and efficient operation.

  A quiet place. Close to New Braunfels and Gruene and many small towns to visit for day trips. Quaint restaurants in the area. We had a wonderful stay.

  Great place, spotless, so clean (even smelled great)beautiful yard and great dock, porch and swimming area outside. Large living area/dining area-great appliances.

  This house on Lake McQueeney was an EXCELLENT choice! It was extremely clean and the views of the cypress trees and the lake are beautiful! We bought tubes and floated on the lake all weekend. It was so relaxing. I definitely will rent this house again in the future. Bridget

  The place was perfect and we loved it. Very comfortable, very clean, great location on the lake. I highly recommend the Cypress Breeze and I look forward to going back often!

  Great little house on the lake. Dock stays in shade under HUGE Cypress trees so you can watch kids play in the water all day. Upper back porch and house have great view through the tree canopy. Really pleasant getaway spot that I hope we visit again in the future. Donna and Family

  We had a wonderful family reunion at Lake McQueeney and would highly recommend the Cypress Breeze for anyone wanting to get away for a wonderful vacation! We used to spend a few weeks at Lake McQueeney every summer when we were young and thought it would be fun to go back with our own children! We came from all over and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful, immaculate, and very spacious. There were 10 of us and we were all very comfortable! The patio and waterfront deck under the cypress trees are so relaxing and alot of fun for anyone who wants to swim or float in the water! Jim was very helpful and easy to work with and answered all emails/phone calls/questions immediately. He made the whole process so easy and stress free! You will not be disappointed with your stay at Cypress Breeze, we can't wait to go back!! :)

  A truly great weekend was had by everyone in our group. The house is very nice, in a great location - very close to many fun things to do in the Texas hill country. Property is well kept, clean, cold A/C, everything functioned appropriately. Yard and outside areas were immaculate. Owner was very helpful, immediately responsive, and flexible. We can't wait to return next year.
