Cypress Breeze Guesthouse is a very comfortable, relaxing and fun family getaway. It is located on one of the highest points overlooking the lake, with a huge yard and the sound of the wind blowing through the 100+ year old cypress trees along our waterfront deck below. Cypress Breeze has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. One bedroom has 2 queen size beds and a TV. The second bedroom has 2 double beds and a single size futon. The living room has a sleeper sofa in front of the fireplace, a TV, stereo and DVD player. The living room has a sliding glass door opening onto a covered patio overlooking the lake. There is a full kitchen and dining area that seats 6. There is a picnic table and BBQ grill on the patio.
We are 5 to 10 minutes by boat or car from Lake Breeze Ski Lodge Club or Ski Masters Water Ski Camp. Our water front includes a boat slip and jet ski ramp on our wood deck underneath the biggest cypress tree you have ever seen! Then again, you could just swim or float in the lake, read a book under the cypress trees or on the patio or do absolutely nothing.
Lake McQueeney is the water ski capitol of Texas. Bring your boat and jet skis. Fishing is also very popular on the lake, especially in spring and fall when the skiers leave. We are 15 minutes from New Braunfels, where you can enjoy Schlitterbahn, Gruene and the quaint historical German heritage found there. For golfers, The Bandit Golf Course, just 5 minutes away, is rated the #7 golf course in Texas by "Golf Week." For shoppers, find a deal at The San Marcos Outlet Malls, about 20 minutes away. Texas Lutheran University in Seguin is about 10 to 15 minutes away.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Lake McQueeney and would highly recommend the Cypress Breeze for anyone wanting to get away for a wonderful vacation! We used to spend a few weeks at Lake McQueeney every summer when we were young and thought it would be fun to go back with our own children! We came from all over and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful, immaculate, and very spacious. There were 10 of us and we were all very comfortable! The patio and waterfront deck under the cypress trees are so relaxing and alot of fun for anyone who wants to swim or float in the water! Jim was very helpful and easy to work with and answered all emails/phone calls/questions immediately. He made the whole process so easy and stress free! You will not be disappointed with your stay at Cypress Breeze, we can't wait to go back!! :)

A truly great weekend was had by everyone in our group. The house is very nice, in a great location - very close to many fun things to do in the Texas hill country. Property is well kept, clean, cold A/C, everything functioned appropriately. Yard and outside areas were immaculate. Owner was very helpful, immediately responsive, and flexible. We can't wait to return next year.

We rented the house for the weekend of my daughter's graduation from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, and it was perfect! The house was immaculate, comfortable and perfect for our family of seven to spend the weekend. We had more relatives and friends stop by before and after graduation, and no one could believe how beautiful and relaxing the view from the back porch was! The back porch, yard and dock kept us sane during an otherwise hectic weekend. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing home with us, and we are excited to plan another trip to Cypress Breeze for our son-in-law's graduation from TLU next May (if not before)!

We were looking for a relaxing start to spring break not too far from home and we found it. Our family had a wonderful five days. We kayaked, fished, boated, enjoyed the sun, the breeze and a truly peaceful time. The house was cozy, clean, and perfect for our time! We look forward to going back in the summer.
