Cypress Breeze Guesthouse is a very comfortable, relaxing and fun family getaway. It is located on one of the highest points overlooking the lake, with a huge yard and the sound of the wind blowing through the 100+ year old cypress trees along our waterfront deck below. Cypress Breeze has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. One bedroom has 2 queen size beds and a TV. The second bedroom has 2 double beds and a single size futon. The living room has a sleeper sofa in front of the fireplace, a TV, stereo and DVD player. The living room has a sliding glass door opening onto a covered patio overlooking the lake. There is a full kitchen and dining area that seats 6. There is a picnic table and BBQ grill on the patio.
We are 5 to 10 minutes by boat or car from Lake Breeze Ski Lodge Club or Ski Masters Water Ski Camp. Have dinner and drinks at The Lodge. Book a ski boat and driver and cut up some water, take some lessons, give the kids some lessons or just go for a ride, but bring your camera. Our water front includes a boat slip and jet ski ramp on our wood deck underneath the biggest cypress tree you have ever seen! Then again, you could just swim or float in the lake, read a book under the cypress trees or on the patio or do absolutely nothing.
Lake McQueeney is the water ski capitol of Texas. Bring your boat and jet skis. Hourly ski boat rentals with a driver are also available from Lake Breeze or Ski Masters. Lake Breeze also offers a restaurant and bar and a swimming pool. Check for availability. Fishing is also very popular on the lake, especially in spring and fall when the skiers leave. We are 15 minutes from New Braunfels, where you can enjoy Schlitterbahn, Gruene and the quaint historical German heritage found there. For golfers, The Bandit Golf Course, just 5 minutes away, is rated the #7 golf course in Texas by "Golf Week." For shoppers, find a deal at The San Marcos Outlet Malls, about 20 minutes away. Texas Lutheran University in Seguin is about 10 to 15 minutes away.
