This is a wonderful vacation spot for a family get-a-way or a fisherman's retreat. Situated on 20 acres on the Yellowstone River, Lazy River Ranch offers peace and quiet, as well as proximity to many vacation activities.
The house is spacious with beautiful views of the river and the Absarokee Mountains. Three outdoor decks as well as many acres of grass await your fun and relaxation. The main house has large rooms, lots of sunlight and comfortable accommodations. The kitchen is outfitted with high end appliances and a gas cook top. The master bedroom is very spacious with a European style marble master bath, including a towel warmer and heated floors. Beautiful views of the Yellowstone River from the Living Room, Dining Room and Master Bedroom. A spacious covered porch overlooks the river and provides many hours of relaxed viewing of the wildlife, raptors and flowing river. A second master has a queen size bed with attached office area. A third bedroom has 2 twin beds and the fourth has a set of bunks.
A detached guest house offers additional accommodations for 2 with a small kitchen, bath and studio living area with a murphy bed. Great privacy for the extra couple or adult child.
A separate studio building contains workout equipment including free weights, recumbent bicycle, treadmill, and a Smith machine. It's easy to have your morning coffee and your workout too, without leaving home.
With 20 acres at your disposal, there is plenty of room to roam, play and have privacy. There is a fenced play area for pets and or small children, which keeps them safe from the water.
This area of the Yellowstone River is famous for its fishing. Walk out the front door, down the path and cast your fly. Or eight miles downstream visit the Spring Creek fishing area for warm water fishing year round.
This portion of the Yellowstone is also excellent for floating - the water is always plentiful with smooth currents.
