This beautiful five bedroom home located in Meridian Lake is a perfect setting for a family vacation during any season of the year. The home is located just a few miles from town and the ski area, but just far enough out of town to offer a quiet, serene and relaxing setting for your vacation. From one of the several decks, enjoy unobstructed views of Mt. Crested Butte or Gothic Mountain. Open the windows in the summer and soak in the smell of the surrounding pine trees and the sound of the stream running behind the house. Meridian Lake is located just next door for kayaking, canoeing or swimming. Hiking trails are also right in your back yard!
The main level of the house boasts a beautifully furnished living room with vaulted ceilings, a large deck, a wood burning stove and views of Mt. Crested Butte. Also on this level is the gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, beautiful cabinetry and Viking and Sub Zero appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area on one side, with sliding glass doors to one of the decks, and on the other side is the mudroom leading to the two car heated garage. The Master Bedroom is also located on the main level. The Master bathroom is spacious and has a Jacuzzi tub.
The lower level and upper level of this house each have two bedrooms. Downstairs are two Jr. Master suites with King size beds, their own bathrooms and Jacuzzi tubs. Also downstairs is a separate sitting area with a large screen TV and a stereo system that supplies sound to the entire house and a large deck. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and the other with a Queen, sharing a "Jack & Jill" bathroom with two separate lavatories and a Jacuzzi tub. This home also has wireless internet.

We enjoy walking out the backdoor and going for a hike to Long Lake - only a mile away through a pine forest, or going mountain biking in the National Forest without having to drive the car. We also enjoy cross country skiing from the house or alpine skiing only a 10 minutes. drive away. 3 miles in the other direction is the town of Crested Butte for shopping or gourmet dinners.
