Maxwelton Beach is perhaps the best beach on the island because of its walkability, (you can walk for miles) its sandy beach and westerly views for spectacular sunsets with the Olympic mountains as a majestic backdrop. Why look at towns, buildings and such when you can enjoy the mountains and sunsets?
Our cabin was built by one of the founding families of Maxwelton Beach. The cabin's lovely backyard borders a protected eagle and blue heron habitat and has a firepit for roashing marshmallows and enjoying the night sky. making the peaceful setting by the beach even more wonderful. Situated just one block from Maxwelton Beach Park with public beach access, a playground, ball field and boat launch.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms, a delightful little fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sweet wood stove (electricity available also!) and a dining area. the south facing deck is a great place to sunbathe and the huge backyard is a super place to stargaze at night and roast marshmallows in the fire pit. By day you can watch bald eagles and blue heron, play volleyball, croquet or practice your golf swing. Bring your bike, your kayak or your boat. You'll relax here and feel like you're in a different world. The cabin at Maxwelton Beach is simply a magical place to enjoy!

Why the Owner Chose Clinton
We rented cabins on the beach when we were children and when I had my own family it was my dream for my children and grandchildren to experience the "country cabin life" as I had.
