Stay in a modern designer style 1 bedroom apartment on the 7th floor (US) with an elevator and a view, in the middle of the very vibrant Montparnasse neighborhood on the Boulevard Edgar Quinet, next to the metro stop.

The apartment is quiet and calm, on a courtyard with a view across the rooftops. Bedroom with French queen size bed plus separate living room with a convertible sofa bed. Modern bathroom with Italian style shower and washing machine/dryer combo.

High Speed Internet and FREE calls to the USA and selected other countries included! Fully equipped luxurious oak kitchen great for preparing meals using some of the amazing products from the local farmer's market in front of the apartment twice a week. There are also many shops and supermarkets open daily right at your door.

Very close to the Montparnasse cemetery where such notables as Simone de Beauvoir and Gainsbourg are buried. The Montparnasse train station is a couple of blocks away, as well as several Metro locations (Edgar Quinet, Vavin, Raspail to name a few). The neighborhood has been a favorite of artists and writers for many years including Picasso and Hemmingway. Some of the great cafes they ate and drank at are right out your door and ready for you to sip a glass of wine or coffee while watching the Parisian lifestyle.

Year Purchased: 2008

We have always loved living in Paris. It is a beautiful romantic city with over 1000 years of History, ancient Monuments, beautiful gardens, hundreds of museums. After living for 12 years in the lovely Quartier de Montparnasse and while we are temporarily expatriated in California we decided to buy and remodel this appartment nearby the place we have been living in. We enjoy going back a few weeks per year and this place is perfect for taking a deep breath of true parisian life in just a few days

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 14

We particularly like the Montparnasse area as it has some of the worlds most famous live theatres, bistros, restaurants and entertainment. At the same time, you find really charming and calm apartments, right in the middle of the liveliness. Many famous artists lived in this neighborhood, and once you've set a foot in this amazing area, you understand why.

    • We have just spent a week in this beautiful apartment and would not hesitate recommending it to family and friends. It was very clean and well appointed, warm and cosy. Montparnasse is truly everything you promised it to be and more. From the street market to the numerous shops and restaurants and the convenience of the metro stops. The energy and hustle and bustle of the area was fantastic. What most delighted our 6 year old was the fact that the top of the Eiffel Tower was visible through the balcony window and at night the "Old Lady" lit up and sparkled. Charm and light in the heart of Montparnasse indeed!! Thank you Karim. We hope to be back soon.

    • We stayed in this very nice apartment for the first time in summer 2009, and are glad of our choice. The apartment is lightful, calm, was very well remodelled recently and is nicely furnished and equipped. Location is ideal, within 100m of all transportation and shopping, and the owners were very helpful when arranging the details of my stay. I highly recommend this place and will for sure come back next time we return to Paris !

    • We have had a wonderful time in Paris, in no small part due to this very pleasant, well-appointed apartment. It is bright, airy, quiet, is very well- appointed and well-situated with easy access to the Metro and buses. We have appreciated the very good street market on Blvd. Edgar Quinet, along with other amenities and very pleasant and helpful owners. We will surely hope to return!
