The kitchen has a breakfast bar overlooking the lake... All Windowed Kitchen. Upper deck off master bedroom viewing the lake. Second bathroom upstairs with three bedrooms. Master has queen bed, 2nd bdr. queen & full; 3rd two (2) twin beds, new mattresses this year on twins. Every bedroom has lots of windows (with vertical blinds). Lower patio with patio set and four chairs; screened-in porch with small bar; remote control lights and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
Remodeled top to bottom May 2003 with ALL new appliances in kitchen (including washer and dryer). Queen sofabed and two new Lazy Boy chairs in living room with Cable TV & VCR and DVD Player. Kitchen table, six chairs, and china hutch. Tiled kitchen and bathroom floors. Fully furnished kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, etc.) Coffee maker, microwave, blender, grilling tools & grill; charcoal & light furnished for grill.
Convenient marina store close by. Just feet from the lake for swimming and/or fishing with attached NEW 12x28 boat dock. LOTS of parking on LEVEL lot. Paved road to property. My family stayed at this property and had a great time. The home was clean and well cared for and the location was great. Ed and Becky were very helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. I hope that we will be able to stay at this property again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Our extended family vacation was absolutely wonderful! The lake house is cozy & clean...the dock & swimming area is nice...the cove is beautiful & quiet. We did not want all the activities some associate with a stay at Lake of the Ozarks (although that is mere minutes away)...what we wanted for our family was quality time together with swimming, boating, tubing, & fishing. We got all that & more. It is a great location & we most definitely will plan a return trip.

This is a wonderful vacation home. We WILL be back. The house is very clean and comfortable. Ed and Becky are fabulous hosts. Can't think of anything this property lacks. There is even a little store within walking distance for things like ice, pizza,soda, bait, or even to gas up the boat. It's very relaxing and lots of fun all at the same time.

My grandfather built this home with his bare hands, putting everthing together with the greatest of care and craftsmanship possible. I spent many of my fondest memories here at this cabin with friends and family and would certainly recommend visiting here. Although it was sold to obviously a caring family, I would be personally honored to relive some of the moments there that I had as a child with children I will have someday. Although both of my grandparents are gone now, I wanted to thank the owners for keeping their dream alive. They just wanted as many people to enjoy this cabin, and create as many lifelong memories of their own, as possible. Much like I have and will pass on. Thank you, Jeff Whitesides

Thanks for sharing your house with us. We really enjoyed ourselves. The food at the restuarants on the water was great. Fishing was pretty darn good for July and the lake was a wonderful time.

What a wonderful weekend! And what a lovely house. All the comforts of home in a gorgeous lakeside setting. The girls loved exploring Ha Ha Tonka & the castle. The girls loved all the special attention and the reminders of their visit. Many thanks for spoiling them so!
