The OLD TOWN is a 5 walking distance,the BEACHES at 10 minutes,RAMBLAS at 15 minutes, but for those that prefer not to walk the bus,tram and subway are right on your doorstep.The subway station: ARC DE TRIOMF.
Immaculately clean neat as a pin with everything you'll need. SECURE building with porter TWO ELEVATORS. Everything that you need is nearby. There are 2 Supermarkets, banks, restaurants, terrace-cafes, laundry, pharmacy; dentist and a doctor are on your doorstep. All within one block!
The terrace, which overlooks Park Ciutadella, can seem like a break from the busy city and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sunny days. After a busy day, the pleasure of sitting on the terrace “people watching” and sipping wine will undoubtedly be one of your lovely memories here. A leisurely breakfast on the terrace just sets the mood for each enjoyable day of discovery.
Along the way to the traditional food market “Santa Caterina” -an excellent place to go for gourmet shopping- you can stop in one of the terrace cafes and in few minutes you get the medieval neighbourhood know as EL BORN. It is one of the classic old quarters of the city.The district has become one of the most visited spots in the city. Santa Maria del Mar Church, PICASSO Museum, and Palau de la Musica are all in this same area.

Thank you so very much for the use of your wonderful apartment and specially for making it so much like a home away from home. The coffee, milk, and muffins were also so very much appreciated the morning we woke up!We sat on the balcony and played cards every evening before dinner. It was lovely.
We enjoyed watching the green birds that looked a little like parrots and we think we heard the elephant from the zoo once. While walking down Wellington Street oneevening,we saw the lion up behind the fence and it roared at us! It was such a sight! The location was just perfect. Thank you also so very much for the restaurants recommendations! We liked Barcelona very much and will be sure to come back sometime.

We returned from a one week stay in Barcelona. We stayed in Dolores' flat which was an immaculate place, pleasant, centrally located, clean with a beautiful balcony to enjoy the view of the park.
But most of all it is Dolores who can turn anybody's stay to a wonderful experience. This is our first time staying in a flat instead of a hotel and with a landlady like Dolores I would always do that. We went through some hard personal experiences, but Dolores was there for us including late at night, or early in the morning. She is an exceptional person always ready to help and be there for you! I wish there would be more people like you in this world!!!

Comment: My daughter recommended we stay in Dolores's apartment because she had visited before with friends and thought it was ideal. I found that everything in the apartment was suitable for my needs as I have some mobility problems. Dolores was a wonderful host and knowledgable guide to her city, which added incalcuably to our experience. She went out of her way to cater for my needs and her thoughtfulness was really appreciated. The visit wouldn't have been the same without her.

"Your ad on VRBO was “right on”. The flat is cosy, in a central location.Everything that you need is nearby. You can walk to most things, or hop on a bus for adventures.After a busy day in the community, sipping vino tinto on the terrace is not at all shabby.
Your excellent suggestions for dining and sightseeing were much appreciated and well worth trying. Your offer of customized walking + driving tours allow guests to get the nest out of their time, in and out of the city.
While every trip must have its “bumps” you proved yourself to be very responsive and helpful during a dental emergency. You can’t get that kind of assistance in any hotel.
It's obvious that you are sincerely interested in your guest confort, add. your genuine friendliness and enthusiasm make you a wonderfull host. It was a pleasure to spend time with you.

Everything that you need is in Naples Street. Supermarket, bank, restaurants, terrace-cafes, laundry, pharmacy, dentist and a doctor are on your doorstep. All within one block!
The buses are great, very clean, regular and easy to use. The stop is behind the Kiosk (newsagents). There you can by tickets for metro and bus.
