My husband and I grew up in big cities like New York and London and lived in California for seven years. We love Philadelphia for it's magnificent architecture and big city on a smaller walkable scale feel. There is so much to do for all ages. The Please Touch Museum is a favorite with the kids.
Why the Owner Chose Abington
From this area slightly north of Philadelphia, we can easily get to downtown without being in the middle of the traffic and noise. Rail or highway links to New York or Washington are close by and locally there is great access to shopping.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This traditional stone home is a comfortable and spacious retreat for the whole family. The large 2 acre lot allows for privacy even though you are close to an urban area. The kitchen is wonderful and we love to cook large family meals. With two dining areas beyond the kitchen there is room for everyone.
