Why the Owner Chose St. Helena
I love Napa Valley and I have kids and a dog. I could only do day trips because there are extremely few places in Napa Valley that are kid friendly. I found this property with its extra large pool and 1/2 acre lot on a quite, vineyard lined street and I fell in love with it. My kids ride their bikes everywhere, go swimming in the pool and play soccer on the giant lawn in the backyard. A fantastic kid friendly restaurant is only a 5 minute walk away.
The Unique Benefits of this Farmhouse
When I arrive at this property I park my car and walk or ride my bike everywhere. 5 minute walk to some of the best restaurants in St Helena. 5 minute walk to Safeway. 5 minute walk to numerous wineries.

Not what expected....

Unfortunately the pictures do reflect the property, but it still was not up to our expectations. The title should include "Rustic". The main house has a bathroom with shower, but the people staying in the cottage have to walk outside quite a distance to use the bathroom and shower next to the pool, which is one huge room and it is cold and wet. There are no plugs or mirrors, so if you have more than one person who needs to prep and another needs to use bathroom, it makes it difficult. We had issues with the heating element, and slept with the window open because we were afraid of the gas. The house did not seem to have been completely cleaned, spiders were staying with us. We use VRBO A LOT and have NEVER been disappointed, and were looking forward to coming up, bbqing in the back and enjoying the house, but instead, we dropped off our bags and went out. We were not comfortable staying there. It also took a long time for our deposit to be refunded. I would NOT recommend this Cottage.
