The homeowner and the facility are well loved by us. As soon as we reserved our days, we were immediately made to feel at home. Carmelo went above and beyond, sending tourist information and maps. He sent his family to check us in. He called throughout the process and stayed in touch. He gave us the neighbors names who acted as our hosts and hostesses while we were there. Magnificent isn't big enough a word. How about benevolent and gracious, too? He may be from NY but he sure had some Southern hospitality. The condo was clean and bug free. The master bed was hard to get out of, with the dreamy waves crashing outside and the pillowtop mattress. Hot water on demand is awesome. Air conditioning was a little weird but our techno geek in residence fixed it. I could have done without the cable tv but my boyfriend saved his pale flesh some burning thanks to the Military channel. The beach was more coral than I expected. That would be because of the proximity to the Tres Palmas Preserve. A short walk and you are at swimming and snorkeling heaven, Steps beach. It was amazing to sit out there and see wave boarders slide by. It was cold at home in March but beautiful in PR. 87 during the day and 70 at night. All of the Caribbean and no need for passports!!! Thank you Carmelo- We will come back!
