Visit our weekend open market for fresh farmer delights, live theatre, 1/2 block for groceries, restaurants, banks, brewery, and some of the best Happy Hours in Seattle. 1 minute drive to Alki Beach and board the walk on ferry to downtown Seattle. ($3) Dock and go to the Aquarium, Sam Art Museum, Pike Street Market (over 100 years old), underground Seattle tours, dinner boat tours, fishing, and much more. Stay on Alki beach for the day. Rent a Kayak, drive lessons, roller blade, rent bikes, play volleyball, walk the strip and pick favorite eateries. Free shuttle at the end of block to Alki Beach and the Water Taxi to downtown. Why would you want to pay parking downtown when you don't have to!
From west Seattle take the Fauntleroy Ferry and go to Blake Island a private Indian Island for a salmon roast all you can eat dinner, or maybe Vashon Island. Watch for whales and the sea lions. Truly one of the most beautiful areas in the world to explore.

I truly believe Seattle is one of the most beautiful areas in the world. And, West Seattle surrounded by water, and views of the mountains, what can I say.
