I stayed in this apartment twice, for nine days in October 2009 and for nine days in November 2010, and I miss it still! What a LOVELY apartment. The balcony on the top floor is a highlight, although it was too chilly to spend much time out there during our November visit. Kimberly was so helpful in the weeks leading up to my visit, and the apartment was gorgeous. The location is perfect, right along Rue Montorgueil with the many food vendors there, and the many restaurants in the neighborhood are delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Italian restaurant located a couple of blocks away from the apartment, on the right side of the street when heading away from Etienne Marcel. The apartment is in easy walking distance of many attractions, and the metro is close by. All in all, this apartment is perfect. I hope to return someday!

This location is in fact very central and colorful with its markets and cafes (Street strung with overhead street lights at the holidays as well) and if you are interested in food, it is optimal! We could easily walk to so many major cultural attractions and landmarks and the two metro lines were only a block or two either way. Both were convenient lines. Our family arrived in Paris on Christmas day and easily checked into the apartment which exactly matched its description and photos. Very safe. Very stylish. Very complete and efficient updated kitchen and updated baths and toilets. Our four children aged 20, 18,16 and 12 settled right in. Great dvd collection! Having a master on the first floor and other bedroom(s) upstairs was perfect for our situation. The owners graciously left a Christmas tree and helped us make arrangements for Christmas dinner which wound up being a memorable occasion. They also provided comprehensive info on neighborhood restaurants and any other services they thought we could need. They get high marks for answering questions when we were planning our trip. We stayed for eight nights and by the time we left we felt like we were leaving our Parisian neighborhood behind. While we had two dinners in other arondissements, the beauty of this location was that you could tour all day somewhere else in the city, return to the Montorgueil and stop at the fromagerie, the boulangerie, wine store etc. for some snacks to munch on, take a break and then head out to yet another fabulous restaurant right in the neighborhood. If preferring to cook in there are too many great food vendors to describe (some very famous) and 2 supermarkets right on the apartment's block. Absolutely perfect for our needs. Our only regret is that the apartment has a wonderful rooftop balcony and December/January is not the time to linger there. We'll be back someday for a warmer stay! Thanks to Romain and Kimberly for a great stay!

Having started our search for late for a place at the end of June, early July, we really lucked out by finding this wonderful and centrally located apartment. Since for most of our group it was the first or second time to Paris, the apartment is close to everything you'd want to see. And just staying within a two block radius was just as enjoyable with butchers, fish markets, regular markets, cafes, shops, etc. etc...The owners were a pleasure to deal with and start you off with a very nice welcoming package - Highly recommended

Six friends had a wonderful time in this beautifully stylish apartment. Great cafes, restaurants and food shopping right on the door step. Easy access to trains and metros and walking distance from the Louvre, Notre Dame etc. Not to mention clothes and shoe shops.... Highly recommended.

My husband and I were lucky to have found this place during our stay over the summer. We had plenty of room, the place was so clean, and we really felt like it was home. When you walk out of the apartment everything is there. Food, shops, and lots of things to do! For a luxury apartment in the center of Paris, I could not recommend a better place!
