Our peaceful condo is surrounded by evergreens with the sweet smell of pine and the fresh air of the mountains. It is just a short walk (about 400 yards) to the Peak 9 Quick Silver Lifts and two blocks from historic downtown Breckenridge. We have updated the unit with a new luxury bed, new carpet, granite countertop in bathroom, stone on the fireplace and wood trim. It is perfect for couples and small families looking for a mountain getaway!
We are located in the Lances West complex one block west of Main Street on Broken Lance Drive. Directly across the street is a stop for the free shuttle bus that can take you to the lifts if you chose not to walk or bring you home after a long day of skiing. This shuttle service can take you several places throughout Breckenridge or even connect you with free bus services to any of the other area ski resorts Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain. Bus services are also available to other towns such as Frisco, Silverthorne and Dillon.
There is a pool house 20 yards away that has a large outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, two indoor jacuzzis and shower rooms that are available for use during the ski season and again from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
Inside our condo is decorated Colorado Style with rustic log accents, art from local artists, a romantic gas fireplace, and a cozy couch which is a sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a huge king size luxury memory foam bed piled with pillows and as many warm blankets as you will need. There is an antique rocker, dresser and a full mirrored closet in the bedroom as well.
We have cable TV in both the bedroom and living area. The living area has a flat screen TV with a DVD/VCR/CD player and we have lots of family board games, books and movies.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a variety of cookware, utensils and dishes to make everything from a Thanksgiving feast to Macaroni and Cheese (our kids' favorite). The refrigerator has an icemaker. We have a full range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot and blender. There is a large pantry too!
Our condo is professionally cleaned and we provide towels and linens for your use during your stay. There are coin operated laundry facilities in the building. For the comfort of all our guests, please no smoking or pets. Check-in time is 4:00pm or later. Check-out time is 10:00am or earlier.
To make your reservation today, we ask for a 50% deposit with the other 50% due thirty days prior to your arrival. Please call us for a payment by Visa/MasterCard/Discover/AMEX or let us know if you would like to mail a check and we will hold your reservation for up to five days.
If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation, there is a $100 Cancellation Fee. If the cancellation occurs sixty days prior to your scheduled arrival, your initial deposit less the cancellation fee will be refunded. If the cancellation occurs within sixty days of your scheduled arrival, a refund less the cancellation fee will be given only in the event the unit can be re-rented during your original reservation.

Why the Owner Chose Lance's West
This unit was our first Breckenridge property and we purchased it for it's great location to town and the Quicksilver lift as well as the nice layout and amenities it offers. The complex is small with only 5 units in our building and ours is situated so that we face away from the street. Inside has lots of windows, a large deck and a beautiful fireplace - things frequently asked for by renters. The huge pool and hot tubs were just icing on the cake!

We absolutely love Breckenridge! We have been to many of the ski resorts in the USA and haven't found one with the same quaint family friendly historic town and fabulous skiing combined. It is such a forgotten treasure in the summer too! We love skiing, biking, boating, hiking and just getting away from it all which makes Breckenridge a perfect fit for us.

We stayed in this charming condo to celebrate our anniversary and as a last getaway before our first child is born. Though we visited during the off season, we throughly enjoyed our stay in Breckenridge, and the condo was a big part of that. The condo was clean and well appointed. The owner was helpful in making the reservations and we had no issues while we were there in which we needed to contact the owner - everything was in smooth working order. We greatly appreciated the humidifiers and it made our stay much more pleasant as we are not accustomed to the dry, cold weather. We would LOVE to return this winter for some skiing, but as I am expecting, I have to sit this season out. We will keep this property in mind for any future trips to Breckenridge, and I highly recommend this property to a couple, but it might be a bit cramped for more than two people.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

great location, we walked to the chair lifts as well as main street. place was clean. 2 things that could have been better but are not show stoppers, 1 of 4 hot tubs seemed to be down each night with spring break it was a full house, and my family cooks in alot and the knife cituation is kinda of a hodge podge collection (6 total, all different and low quality) we made do, just fyi. we would definetly stay here again, the condo had 3 disc sleds and one other and we used them twice to sled behind the elementary school (it was a blast). last but not least the fold out bed (couch) may have had the best matress for one of these ive ever slept on.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary in the Lance West condo and couldn't have been more satisfied with our rental! The inside was immaculately clean, the kitchen had every gadget we needed for cooking our meals and the furniture and decor made it feel like home. The condo was conveniently located right on several walking trails and the balcony had a gorgeous view of the forest which we enjoyed every morning! It was a home away from home and it was the perfect weekend getaway! :)

Spent 10 days here in Jan 2010. Condo is really comfortable and has everything you need. Also a really good location for both the lifts and heading into town. Would definitely book again!
