UNIT SIZE AND QUALITY: *****(5 Stars). This oversized, one bedroom condo has 655 square feet of space to enjoy. The condo is a corner unit and is located on the top floor of Expedition Station. It has vaulted ceilings and spectacular mountain views. Enjoy a great night's sleep on the brand-new king sized bed with luxurious bedding that was purchased in July 2010. The living room and the bedroom have cable TV and DVD players. The living room also features a gas fireplace and sleeper sofa that will sleep two additional people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essentials to cook a meal away from home with pots and pans, silverware, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, and blender. Four people can sit comfortably at the dining room table and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and ski slopes. To make the condo child friendly, all of the electrical outlets have covers. There is also a portable crib and lightweight stroller, so you don't have to pay to bring those items on the plane or pack them in the car. You will also enjoy the large selection of DVDs and games to play with the family in the condo (e.g. Scrabble, Monopoly, Jenga, Catch Phrase, Checkers, Chess, Dominoes, and puzzles).
VIEWS **** (5 Stars) This condo features views of the ski slopes and the Gore mountain range from the balcony. From the master bedroom and living room windows, you will see the ski slopes.
PROXIMITY TO ACTIVITIES **** (4 Stars) When you exit Expedition Station, you will have a 1-2 minute walk to excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals, and great people watching. It is also approximately 150 meters to the new high speed eight passenger gondola. In your ski boots and carrying your skis, it will take about five minutes to get to the gondola.
BUILDING QUALITY & AMENITIES *****(5 Stars) Expedition Station was completed in the late 90’s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevators. There are two high speed elevators that service 91 units. There is an access controlled, underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on every level of Expedition Station. Expedition Station has a spacious lobby with large, gas fireplace, sitting area, game tables, and a pool table. This building also features a heated pool , 8-person hot tub, steam room, and fitness room. The heated pool is only utilized by guests staying at Expedition Station. It is not shared with any other buildings. The pool and hot tub have views of the Gore Mountain Range.

The perfect place to be after a long day of skiing. Loved to room and how relaxing it was to come back to after a long day on the slopes. The kids loved the pool table down stairs. Great room in a great resort.

Very nice, well maintained unit. Unit was clean and we found the accomodations nice for our family of 4. It was nice for each of our sons to have their own place to sleep. We appreciated the availability of the internet as we traveled with our laptop to allow my husband and I to keep up with work. Unit could have been stocked with some potholders or oven mits and extra kitchen towels. We hope the owners found the unit as they would have left it. As regular condo/rental guests, we always treat the place as though it were ours.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
