Perched above the world famous surf break Cardiff Reef. The private Beach Bungalow comes with 1 queen size bed, 1 couch that converts into a full size bed, 1 bath furnished with everything you would need for the ultimate vacation or extended stay.
Including a 42" flat screen TV, linens, towels, dishes, boogie boards, surfboard upon request, beach chairs, and a parking pass for all the great nearby state beaches. Listen to the surf as you open the French doors out to the spacious tropical deck for total relaxation or cook your dinner as you see the ocean from the kitchen. In Cardiff by the Sea it’s all about the lifestyle!
Going Organic and Green, our gardens have just become certified as an official Backyard Wildlife Habitat Lc#124,034 by the National Wildlife Federation. So, watch for the beautiful butterflies and birds that often visit the area.

Why the Owner Chose Cardiff by the Sea
Cardiff-by-the-Sea has been one of our favorite locations. The surf is world class. There are a lot of famous surfers who live here to practice. The weather is great...not too cold and not too hot. One of the best things about Cardiff is the lifestyle...it is a very laid back town and very family friendly.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Location, Location, Location!!! You can walk to the beach and the great town of Cardiff. There are some wonderful restaurants and the people are super friendly. We offer boogie boards, a surfboard, beach chairs, and a parking pass for all of the great State parks in the area.

We've lived in Cardiff for the last 4 years and LOVE it! This place is the best. The beach is wonderful and there are lots of things to keep us busy in the area. We like to walk to the beach, go kite boarding when it gets windy, ride our bikes, surf, and kayak. Now that we have a two year old son we are happy to live so close to the great Glen park. We go there almost everyday.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the studio bungalow. Accommodations were excellent , BBQ, cruiser bikes, easy walk to Pipes Restaurant, Seaside Market and the beach. Grandsons enjoyed the local park nearby. We'd definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow. Open space, enclosed front porch area, proximity to all things...just flat out a perfect place to stay that represents that "Cardiff-flow". Not only did we enjoy our stay, we feel we have discovered new friends in Sean, Erika and Kai (the owners). We will definitely be back, and look forward to future experiences at the Bungalow. Aloha!

Everything was as promised, Sean & Erika were very kind and helpful from beginning to end. We loved the fact that we could walk to great restaurants and to San Elijo State Beach. Every morning was spent walking through the park and the quite neighborhood. The convienent location even allowed us to take a quick trip to La Jolla for some kayaking & San Diego for some sightseeing. Our kids have already asked us if we can go back again next year. We would love to come back!

We enjoyed our visit at the bungalow. The owners were attentive, and the space very comfortable. We were in unit "C", and were a bit surprised that it did not feature a "full" bedroom (there is a low-wall with curtains separating the bedroom from the living space). This is fine for a couple, but a bit lacking in privacy if you are sharing the space. Also, the couch/bed could be a little more comfortable for those choosing to use it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen/dining layout is great and the porch makes a great outdoor hang-out space.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Hi Erika and Sean, We got back to NJ late last night. Just wanted you to know we had a great time…it was great being back in Cardiff. We were comfortable in the bungalow and it helped us get back into the beach “scene” much quicker than if we had stayed in a hotel etc. We loved the location and the ease of getting down to the beach or into town. We even crossed over the tracks up at the north end of the San Elijo Park without getting busted! Well… so much for our living dangerously! Silly. Anyway, thanks again for the “digs” and hopefully we’ll see you again in the future. Take care, Teresa

very cute, nicely maintained home. Owners are wonderful, and worked with us on a short notice stay! Our 41/2 year old son loved walking to the park every day. We loved hearing the surf, the quick drive to the beach, and Seaside Market. We had a great stay!

THE SOFT AIR AND FLORAL SCENT STAYS WITH ME EVEN AS I GO THREE DAYS BACK INTO THE GRIND. I AM ALREADY PLANNING MY NEXT STAY. I WAS DELIGHTED BY THE CLOSE-IN BEACH FEEL.
