I absolutely loved loved loved staying in this home for the week my group and I stayed here. Karen was an amazing person to work with. She worked with the fact that our group was under 25 and that we were a group of friends. The home itself was absolutely gorgeous too!!!!! The pictures honestly don't do the house justice because it's soooo much pretty in person. The house is literally a minute, maybe not even from the beach as well. It was amazing. Anything we needed during the week, all we had to do was either call or email Karen and she was more than willing to help out. Also, when we got to the home, there were brochures and different things listed by the owner for us to do for fun! I would stay in this house or with this owner if I was planning anther trip any day! The house was absolutely beautiful! Enough room for the entire family to have privacy but also be together. Beautifully decorated and had the "at home' feel to it. Very kid friendly with video games, internet connection and a private pool. Just a short distance to the beach made it very convenient to go and come from the beach as needed. We would highly recommend this house to anyone asking for information when traveling down to the Myrtle Beach area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just spent a wonderful month at the "Chill Inn." This home is located one half block from the beach in a friendly, safe and beautiful neighborhood. The house is immaculate and includes a lot of personal touches. The furniture and beds are comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you need. The golf cart rental is is a great addition. Fun for going to the beach or a ride around Garden City. . Karen is great to work with. She was attentive to detail, organized and has a fun, friendly personality. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. We found "Chill Inn" to be exactly what we hoped for. I highly recommend this house to anyone who is interested in staying for a week in Garden City Beach. The house is fully equipped and very spacious. My family of 7 was very comfortable. We were impressed with how nice the house was. We enjoyed walking to the beach every day. The beach is beautiful. We also made use of the golf cart which was alot of fun! Me and my family really enjoyed our stay at the Chill Inn. The place was very spacious and so close to the beach. We loved having the golf cart to cruise around on. There was so much to do we never had a chance to play the Guitar Hero. Some of the local spots I really enjoyed were Crabby Mikes and the Celestial Spa. We can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

What can I say that hasn't been said by many except, this is the first house I've rented that even provided chopsticks. We absolutely loved the place, and I would be remiss to mention that dealing with Karen was a most pleasant experience. If the stars line up, this will definitely be my first choice to return too. Traveling with a bunch of young adults, the more space the better. Each person had their own room to keep their belongings and had the privacy that we all lack at home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to make a beautiful Sunday dinner. The pool is small but serves its purpose (looks beautiful when lit at night), nonetheless, you really don't need it since the beach is literally a few doors down. The house is much more spacious then it appears in the pictures provided and is spotless. A great find for affordable price. Would visit again for a much longer time than spent and must research more activites to do well you stay.Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: There is plenty to do! I have a "Things to Do" guide on the coffee table. At the house, there are games, books, Playstation 2 with games (including Guitar Hero), a pool, a golf cart and the beach. In the area, there is plenty of shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, putt-putt, bowling, a batting cage, a maze, fishing on the pier, deep sea fishing, and golf. It is only 15 minutes to Broadway at the Beach or the Market Commons, both of which have plenty of night life for the young at heart. The listing description and pictures certainly do not do justice to the Chill Inn, we loved it! This was the best place we have ever stayed in our 10 years of vacationing in Garden City, and we for sure will be back. The Soper's are wonderful to work with and treated us great from beginning to end! The property is very clean and well-maintained. There are so many ammenities with the property, you certainly can't list them all. I would recommend this property to friends and certainly plan to return!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We live in Greenville, SC. We have always loved going to the beach especially the South Carolina beaches. The ocean water is warmer there than the North Carolina beaches and the season is longer. We love to hang out on the beach, play ladder golf, body-surf in the waves and bask in the warm rays of the sun while listening to the ocean waves lapping the shore. There is just something about planting your chair and looking out at the ocean that makes all your stress melt away.
