My family and I stayed at this property for 9 days and it was absolute heaven! Jose is a gem of a man. He was reliable and kind from our first correspondence to the minute we left Barcelona. This was our first rental of this kind and we were so pleased with how things turned out. The location of this apartment is fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere and at times used the Metro. It is a very convenient location and extremely safe. We walked home late at night with our children and never had to worry. The restaurant across the street, Per Tastare, is fabulous! Definitely eat there. The food is delicious and the owner is so kind and friendly. There are several markets near by and a delicious pastry shop on the corner. You will have everything you need here. I will definitely rent one of Jose's apartments again if and when I ever get to return to the beautiful city of Barcelona.

Perfect Place To Stay

Dealing with Jose was very easy and all questions were immediately answered. Jose gave us his phone number to use when we picked up our luggage and was waiting for us on the sidewalk when we arrived. He helped with the luggage and showed us around the apartment. The washer is great to have and is great for someone getting off a cruise that might need to refresh the wardrobe. There was no need to purchase detergent. The apartment was clean and very quiet even though it the living room and kitchen faced the street. It was enjoyable to sit by the counter looking out at the street below. Although there was no Internet in the apartment there was a Internet place just aroud the corner so we were able to use as we needed. This came in handy the morning of our departure when we discovered that the boarding of our cruise was delayed by several hours . We immediately contacted Jose to rearrange our taxi and ask if we could stay longer. Fortunately the apartment was not rented for that day. Thanks Jose for that extra help you are very accommodating to your renters. There is a supermarket a block and half away so it is easy to keep supplied. It was also a great place to pickup coke and some other things to take on our cruise. The location of the apartment is prefect for seeing the sights. We never used the Metro as we walked all around and enjoyed the sites that we wanted to see. There are a number of places to eat in the immediate area. Dinner is late so we walked to different areas one night and enjoyed seeing things lit up. If you are there on a Friday there is a place right accross the street that has free food every Friday. You just pay for the drinks. It is called NUVOLA. The food was good and plentiful. Jose is wonderful to deal with and we hope to return to his apartment again.

My husband and I spent 5 nights in this great apartment. Jose Antonio was a wonderful host and very helpful when we needed to find parking for our rental car. The apartment is ideally located for walking to all the Gaudi houses and the Sagrada Familia. There are two metro stations very close by. Shops and a good supermarket are also within walking distance. I would recommend this apartment.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks and wish we could have stayed even longer. Perfect in every way. Thanks Jose for making our visit to Barcelona feel like home-from-home with your gracious welcome and your excellent recommendations. The apartment was very comfortable and the Barcelona-public-wi-fi was a nice touch - it worked very well for us. This apartment was perfect! Just the right size and located in a safe and clean building. Ideal location to access the metro station and also to catch a cab in a pinch. Barcelona is a fabulous city to walk around and from this location we could walk safely around into the late evening hours. When we were tired, there was always a metro station nearby. A 15 minute stroll brought you to the Familia Sagrada in one direction and to the Passeig de Gracia in another. Jose Antonio is most gracious! Will definitely return to this beautiful city and most definitely stay in one of Jose Antonio's apartments.

I recently stayed at this apartment with my sister for a holiday. Jose was very easy to work with. He met us on the first day of our stay at the time he said he'd be there which helped ease my anxiety about renting an apartment overseas. The apartment was very clean and in a quiet location. It's a short walk away from a few metro spots making it easy to get to the sights of Barcelona. It is also within walking distance of the Sagrada Familia which is a plus.

Hemos disfrutado Barcelona por algunos días y estuvimos en el departamento dos adultos con tres niños. El departamento está bien ubicado, cerca de estaciones de metro y caminando se puede llegar tanto a la Sagrada Familia como a la Plaza Catalunia. En los alrededores hay bares, restaurantes, panaderias, mercaditos, etc. El departamento está bien equipado y limpio. José Antonio nos dio tanto una cálida bienvenida como despedida. Great Neighbor Experience

Our visit to Barcelona was made that much more enjoyable by staying in this convenient and safe location. We enjoyed the neighborhood cafes and walked to everywhere....Ramblas, Sagrada, Parc Guell, and the Picasso Museum among others. We like to walk so it didn't seem far to anywhere. Jose couldn't have been nicer and the apartment was comfortable and met our needs. We had the best tiramisu around the corner at a cafe that serves Argentian beef which was also tasty. We did find it better for us to eat our dinner early...Spain's lunch time 1:30 till 4:00ish instead of 9:00 on for dinner. Also, great values for lunch...three course meals for 10 euro....good food and good coffee. I already miss my daily croissant... We would definitely contact Jose if ever in Barcelona again.

Our stay at Jose's apartment was perfect. As expected, the apartment was bright, spacious and clean. It's central location provided us the opportunity to explore all that Barcelona had to offer. The neighborhood while clean and quiet, still was connected to all the shops, restaurants, and sights of the city. The Owner, Jose, was very accommodating and his great hospitality was more than we could ask for. Thank you for making our stay very special!

10 day stay in BCN

Many thanks Jose for renting us your apt. in BCN. It truly added to our experience to stay in the heart of a neighborhood rather than a hotel. This apt. is so convenient - you can get to 3 metro stations - at max a 20 min walk. Almost at the center of BCN an easy ride on the metro to anywhere and a great walk if you choose. There were 5 of us staying in this apt. 2 kids (9 and 11) and 3 adults. The kids shared the sofa bed in the sitting room and the adults took the bedroom. The only negative was that there is only 1 bathroom but we managed. Be prepared for it to be pretty dusty - I think this a characteristic in BCN. The apt. itself had everything you needed and many little stores around it to go buy groceries. Our best find was an excellent bakery called "GARDE" on Consell De Cents going towards Passeig D Gracia. All in all an absolutely excellent stay - we'd definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to go BCN to get in touch with Jose. Don't forget to look out of your window for all the little architectural details on the buildings opposite. We saw stone turtles outside ours and beautiful wrought iron..have a great stay!

Inredible Location and Sparkling Clean

The apartment was perfect for our needs. It is situated right in the heart of Eixample district, just next two metro stations, although you can walk just about anywhere in Barcelona from this location. The apartment is situated on the second floor facing on the street so although it is located in a lively part of the city, the apartment is completely quiet because of itts isolation. Jose was lovely to work with and the apartment had been very thoughtfully stocked with nice little details like an electric kettle, and iron, and even with a lot of information about the city. The apartment exceeded our expectations. . All in all, this apartment represented an excellent value. Also we needed a wheelchair for my mother and Jose did all the deals to rent it for us.

This apartment was everything we hoped for when signing up through VRBO -- clean, spacious enough, with good air conditioning. It is two blocks from the metro and centrally located so you can get anywhere in the city fairly conveniently. By walking you can get to several grocery stores and restaurants (gourmet types should check out Gran Via Alimentario). Jose lived up to his reputation as excellent host, including meeting us very late on our check-in date after a long drive from Madrid. Would recommend this for parties up to four who visit this elegant city.

We stayed at the apartment for a few days over New Years, and everything was great. The place was really comfortable for the two of us, featured all of the basic amenities, was clean and in a great location on a quiet street 5-10 minutes away from a number of sites. Jose, the owner, was also really good about keeping in touch with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a fantastic way to see Barcelona.

We were very pleased with our stay. Jose is an excellent host, he promptly answered all my questions before we arrived, met us for our early morning arrival and provided us with a lot of useful information. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the listing description and well-kept. The location is excellent, around the corner from the amazing Sagrada Familia, within a reasonable walking distance to most of the cultural attractions and close to the subway if you'd rather not walk too far. We would definitely recommend this location.

Wonderful Vacation Apartment in Barcelona

This comfortable, spacious, clean, centrally located apartment is highly suited to enhance your vacation. It is conveniently situated near the grocery and bakery shops, and you will feel safe walking to any of these. After dining at any of the fine local restaurants or tapas bars, you will enjoy a good rest at night in this quiet neighborhood. The online listing and photos for this apartment are entirely accurate as it is very clean and well maintained. From our initial online communication, I knew that we were going to have an excellent vacation in Barcelona. Jose promptly answered our email questions and thankfully arranged for our required extra days. On our arrival, he was punctual in meeting with us for check in. When we were to leave, he again was punctual in meeting with us for check out. His command of the English language is excellent and his friendly and helpful nature made us feel very much welcomed. Within easy walking distance you will find the Temple Sagrada Familia and the "Hop On Hop Off Bus". These qualify as two of many attractions we would recommend. We definitely would recommend that anyone going to Barcelona stay at any of Jose's apartments, as he has three.

Apartment Stay while in Barcelona

The apartment is situated in a great location in Barcelona. We had no issues with getting back home nightly and felt very safe at all times. Jose was wonderful to deal with. He answered all my emails very quickly. The apartment is supplied with cleaning supplies. It was great to have a washer machine available. Having a kitchen was great - made breakfasts before heading off for the day. I did want Wi-Fi which was listed in the website but didn't have it. We were still able to get it tho thru the bedroom windows. It also listed a patio but there wasn't one. If I was to go back to Barcelona I would check with Jose again.

We found this apartment perfect for the needs of me and my partner. It was roomy, warm, bright and so well located to the metro. Jose's place was exactly as the photos and words described it, i.e., clean, compact but fine for we three, well located. We walked everywhere. We had a car problem, had to replace a tire while visiting. Jose went way above and beyond, finding a convenient place to get the work done, ferrying me and our tire around on his moped, etc.. We would definitely recommend him and his facilities to anyone.

Our Stay in Barcelona was fabulous! We travelled as five adults and found Jose's apartment to be wonderfully accommodating. We recently stayed 5 nights in Jose's apartment. It is VERY clean and close to the metro lines. We even walked to Sagrada Familia. We were 2 women alone in the apartment, but felt it was a very safe area. I would definetly recommend renting from Jose. He is very helpful and friendly.

The apartment is nice and very clean. It has good quality. Jose is also nice and available. We were on holiday and we really enjoyied there. Barcelona is a beautiful town! And the situation was perfect for our needs. Thanks a lot.Jose i will recomend to my friends.

Stayed in this nice 2BR 1BA clean apartment located near Metro Stations, Super market and local restaurants. Jose, the owner, met us at the apartment with keys and was helpful in anwering whatever questions we had. The price was right and the people were friendly and all willing to help you with directions.

We choose this apartment because a friend of mine recommend us. We have stayed (my family 4 people) for 8 days, and we really apreciate is: the situation of the apartment, is near everywhere also by foot, in a very quite and safe area, the relationship wiht the owner (JOse), its a realy good person, the appartment was new,clean with every thing we need. I have stayed at Jose apartments on two occasions. The location is very central. Walking distance to downtown, and to all interest places. The area is very saf. There are all the things you need nearby, supermarkets,pharmacie, shops,restaurants. The apartment is spotless and fully equipped. Our kids enjoy to stay in the public garden next to the apartment. Jose is a wonderful man, very easy going and most helpful. Don’t hesitate to stay at this lovely apartment and meet Jose.

The assistance given to us when we arrived in Barcelona was superior. The apartment was clean, in a great location and reasonably priced. Throughout our entire stay Joaw was attentive to our needs.
