This charming California beach home is located on a 1/2 acre atop the bluffs above the San Elijo Reserve. From the minute our guests arrive, they are in awe of the panoramic ocean views from almost every room in the house. Often our guests enjoy hours taking in the views from the white waters of Cardiff Reef to the sweeping views of San Elijo Lagoon and NE views of the San Bernardino Mountains. If you are a beach lover and looking for rest & relaxation inside and out this is a fabulous place to stay. A special place to create memories.
Our private home is furnished featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full gourmet kitchen with Dacor stainless appliances with a great breakfast bar, dining room, living room and family room. And if you must do a little work while you stay, we provide a computer along with access to Wifi. We have a large backyard, perfect for kids with a swing set, monkey bars and even an outdoor dollhouse for the little ones to play in.
There are plenty of things to do in Solana Beach. In less than a mile from our home, you can walk to the Solana's own Fletcher Cove beach (we provide beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and toys for your enjoyment at the beach), Cedros Design District (if your a shopper this is a must visit destination) and SB train station, where you can catch a vintage double-decker bus ride to the Del Mar Race Track. Also there is entertainment in the evening at the Belly Up Cavern located in the Cedros District. Plenty to do in our own little community.
We'd love for you to stay as long as you want, therefore we are offering special rate for staying 4+ weeks ($2500/week). If you can't stay that long we understand, summer rates apply, ($3000/week). Holiday Weekends ($3500 - 3-5 night stay)

Year Purchased: 2002
We bought the house in 2002 from the original owner who built the house in the 50's. We kept the charm of the California ranch home but totally remodeled the kitchen, dining room, family room, and bathrooms. If you are looking for a home away from home rather than a condo this is a wonderful cozy place to stay.
Why the Owner Chose Solana Beach
My husband and I are San Diego natives. We have always wanted to own a home at the beach. Both of us believe Solana Beach offers the charm of beach living without the riff-raft. Its one of the few beach neighborhoods in San Diego that offers quiet, safe neighborhoods. While you can't go wrong with almost any home here in Solana Beach, we wanted to own a home where we could retire with breathtaking views. It took 3 years to find the perfect place with a spectacular views. The views sweep from the Pacific Ocean to the San Elijo Reserve and then toward the San Bernardino Mtns that are snow capped in the winter. Its just breath-taking and we'd love to share that view with you.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We enjoy the views the most. From almost every room in the house, including the front porch, you can take in a different view of the Pacific Ocean. Our favorite months at the house are Oct-December as the skys are crystal clear and the sound of the roaring ocean soothes the soul. Its inspiring and relaxing. We also enjoy the neighborhood, where many people walk their dogs, or ride their bikes and head to the beach. Many folks enjoy being outdoors which like as well. There is so much to do, like shop @ Cedros, take in a play at the North Coast Repertory Theater, or concert at the Belly up, just to name a few. You really don't have to leave Solana Beach. But if you want to see the rest of San Diego, its as easy as hopping on the train just a mile away from our home at the Solana Beach train station. And that's just the beginning of why Solana Beach is a fabulous place to live or vacation.
