The property was purchased on 2003 and the home construction was finished on 2005.
The property features nearly and acre of land seating near the top of a hill that overlooks the natural bay of Boquerón and its fishing village, as well as the Caribbean Sea. Great views of surrounding mountains and open green spaces are available from every room. The house features 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, a modern kitchen with plenty of cabinet space and all the utensils and appliances (all stainless steel) a good cook will enjoy. Each bedroom contains a mini-split air conditioner unit to provide comfort while sleeping in those warm Caribbean nights.
During the day, due to its location and the surrounding topography, the house is constantly surrounded by the cool breezes of the Sea. The doors of the great room open fully to allow a sense of openness that places the occupants of the house in touch with the great open spaces and views that surround the property. The house has a constantly growing Caribbean garden with many delightful flowers unique to the islands, and some young but rapidly growing fruit trees.
The house sits at the end of the street with only green open spaces on most sides. The neighborhood is composed entirely of custom homes much of which are also vacation homes to owners residing in other parts of the island, and the United States. Due to this fact, the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the few neighbors that inhabit their homes year around, are extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful.
After staying a few days in our home, you too will come to understand why we choose this very special location, why this house is so special to us, and why we want to share it with you.

Currently residing in the beautiful state of California, USA. Me and my wife, originals from Puerto Rico, always dreamed of owning a custom vacation home in the island. We live and work full-time in California, and enjoy traveling around the world, but every chance we get, we find our way to the warmth and the sun of Puerto Rico. Great food, great people, and nature at its best!
Why the Owner Chose Cabo Rojo
Been Native to the Island of Puerto Rico and knowing real well the different great get-aways in Puerto Rico is how we decided to buy and build our vacation home in this unique part of the island. As far away as you can get from San Juan, its traffic, and the crowds, we located in an area surrounded by great green open spaces, many of the greatest beaches of the island within minutes, near many of the great seafood restaurants of the west coast, and yet, close enough to some of the island largest cities for great fun activities at night, shopping, and site seeing.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The house is located near the top of a hill in nearly an acre of land with great views of the natural bay of Boquerón, and the Caribbean sea. Great views, continuously flowing breezes year around, open green spaces all around, quiet, peaceful, and private. These are the attributes that we value and those are the attributes our home embodies.

If I ever get to build a vacation home, I want it to look exactly like this. The house is absolutely beautiful, with a two-story wall of windows across the open-plan living room area. The photos don't even do it justice, because you can't see very clearly how high the windows extend. The furnishings are all very modern and chic, and everything is super-clean; heaven to come home to after a day of hiking or beaching in the hot sun. The ONLY thing it lacks is a pool, but honestly the patios were so breezy and so beautiful that we never missed it. Definitely thinking about returning with more family.

This is an amazing vacation home that transports you with all the amenities of home to a paradise in the sky.The house has amazing views of the sky and the ocean. The photos do not lie as what you see is exactly what you get from the moment that you arrive at the driveway. This includes sanitary and safe conditions for your stay. The house is very tastefully designed and furnished. And it is located about 10 minutes from the beach. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious with windows that provide ample light and great views. It is a short drive from restaurants, shopping, beaches and sightseeing. In the house you will find many magazines that will point you in any direction you want to go while in Puerto Rico. The town of Cabo Rojo is a combination of old Spain and the new Puerto Rico. Should you want to cook you will find a fully equipped kitchen with herbs and spices. And as many dishes and pots for cooking for one as for more. I loved every minute of our stay in this house and plan to return to it in the near future. Oh and I loved the small touches like knowing that the owner was always just a phone call away to answer inquiries and to tell me where the beach towels were located (yes beach towels were provided). The owner of this house thought of everything vacationers would need in the preparation of this home for rental.

Our family of 6, ages 15-69 spent a wonderful week at Casa Etienne. The house is located on a hillside overlooking the bay at Boqueron. The house is spectacular. There are huge french doors on the side of the house overlooking the bay. In the evening gentle breezes make sitting on the balconies very enjoyable. The setting and view are wonderful. We enjoyed exploring the Cabo Rojo area. This was great house to spend a great week in PR.

My husband and I rented this property for 3 weeks in Feb,2010----it was fabulous!!!!!! The architecture was incredible, the furnishings were lovely,the bed linens were crisp and clean--------and the location was perfect to experience southwest Puerto Rico! Casa Etienne is located in a beautiful family neighborhood which was great for early evening walks----and the neighbors were all very friendly.We loved our vacation here and look forward to a return visit!

First, and most importantly, Arnaldo was incredible to work with he is very detailed and patient. His home is absolutely gorgeous and the sunrise and sunset on his hillside are indescribable. We had breakfast on the veranda everyday watching the sunrise and the ocean view. The bakery down the street is unbeatable with sandwiches and pasteries that are not only delicious but beautiful too. There is also a grocery on the same street you can pick up necessities (Don Q Puerto Rican Rum). The local beach is very clean and clear but the best is out by the salt flats and light house, the water there is the most amazing blue. We traveled all over the west coast beach hopping it was easy to travel from the house to everywhere we wanted to go. There were great surfing beacing in the north west some fun to play in and some too strong but amazing to watch. We took Arnaldo's reccomendations on a couple of restaurants that we enjoyed and we just happened upon the rest and were pleased with the food and the prices too. Everyone was very friendly and we miss it already, it felt more like home than home. Thank you Arnaldo for renting us your home and we look forward to returning to Boqueron, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico maybe one day to call home.
