  We took our 2 children here for their spring break to get away from it all and that's exactly what we did!!! The cabin is very beautiful and secluded for privacy. We enjoyed hours in the hot tub and game loft, my 6 year old daughter said that this was the best place she has ever stayed :) The roads up to the cabin can be a bit tricky at first but you get used to them after a couple times up and down the mountain, I would recommend a mountain friendly vehicle, we had an explorer, no 4-wheel drive and we had no problems. Terri was great to work with and was very accommodating to our last minute travel changes, I cant thank her enough for changing our dates so last minute. We spent our easter here and the kids loved hunting eggs all throughout the cabin, it really is a holiday we will always remember. Some recommendations for the area that we would highly recommend are the Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge, spend the extra $5 /person and sit in the front row, you can feel the wind off the horses as they ride by, my husband even had sand kicked up on him at one point and the food is amazing. The Melting Pot in Gatlinburg is my new favorite...it's a fondue restaurant that we plan on visiting every time we are here now. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cabin with me and my family!!!

  We had an excellent time at your cabin. The place is absolutely spotless and we loved the style of the cabin and furniture. It was very spacious and we appreciated the additional amenities like a corkscrew (which I mistakenly left at home) and the DVD player! We were unable to turn on the fireplace for some reason. I turned on the timer, expecting it to just start...but it didn't. I am sure it is user error, but if that is actually how it turns on then maybe the gas was off or something. It was a great getaway for us and we appreciate you letting us use your beautiful home. Davy and Lisa

  The cabin was great, we had an amazing time. It is in a great location with spectacular views. We just a few minor issues while there. Upon arrival, we did find the hot tub squirting water all over the deck, and the water had frozen around it. It was an easy solution, which only required adding water. Also, we were unable to use the fireplace the entire week we were there, gas was empty. We did notify owners, they were apologetic but unable to fix the problem. Overall, the cabin is beautiful. It is in a gated community, but still provides a private setting. The master bed is very comfortable...which is a huge bonus! Kitchen is well supplied with pans, plates and such.

  We just returned from our stay at this absolutely beautiful cabin and I can't say enough about it. It is gorgeous on the inside and out. The pictures just don't do it justice!!! The views are completely amazing and we had an awesome time. We saw 4 large turkeys one morning which was an added bonus. The wood used on the inside is stunning and the views of the surrounding mountains couldn't be better! Lots of privacy and loved that even though you are in the country you still have the security of a guarded community. We found our home away from home!!! Thanks to Terri for being so easy to work with and for sharing her beautiful home with us. We can't wait to return!! :))

  Everything is exactly as the pictures show: the cabin is squeaky clean (smells new, plenty of towels, roomy, etc!) and the view is GORGEOUS! I did so much research looking for the perfect location for our wedding... this cabin was it! We were married on the deck with the mountains behind us. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and the rocking chairs each morning-so relaxing! My new husband had never been to the area so we had a good time visiting Gatlinburg during the week (MUCH different than the weekend), driving through part of the National Forest and walking through the Forbidden Caverns. The grill was out of gas but we used the stove for our burgers instead. The drive inside the resort is partially gravel and a little steep in areas but we never had any major problems. I appreciate the year-round rates the owners charge. The rates do not double just because of the time of year it is. Thank you, Terri, for sharing your home with us! We treated it as our own if not better :)

  What a great, relaxing vacation! Loved everything about the cabin. Beautiful view from deck and sooooo peaceful! Would love to return sometime. Roads were a bit tricky at first, but we managed fine. Had a baby bear stop by on our last day, trying to get into the trash can. That made our day! Luckily no "momma or pappa" bear!!! Thanks, again Terri and Barry for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin!!!!!

  The house was nice and seemed clean throughout. The security at the gate was helpful and the area beautiful. It took a little time to get to the strip from the cabin, but we just planned well once we got the hang of it. Disappointed to see that the upstairs jacuzzi tub was broken and the downstairs one shot out a whole bunch of black flakes throughout the tub when I turned on the jets. Therefore, there was not jacuzzi action to be had the entire time of the rental. I tried calling but did not get ahold of the cleaning agency. When I spoke to Terri, she was apologetic and nice. Loved driving up the driveway!

  Beautiful cabin inside and out! The view is one of the best around. We did need 4WD to get up the driveway. Loved the seclusion. It is about a 10 min drive up the mountain once you go through the security gate. We would definitely stay again. There are several animal hides for decor so you animal activists would not like it. My son on the other hand loved them and wanted to know what each animal was.
