Casa Colorada is an intimate and beautiful home located in a great neighborhood in Los Barriles. The home is an authentic Mexican residence that has been remodeled twice in the last 15 years, the most recent being done in 2006. The home is set on a very large lot, over 1/3 of an acre in size. The landscaping is very lush and tropical. Trees on the property include Mexican limes, mandarin oranges, avocados, mangoes, oranges, pomegranate. The smell of jasmine fills the air of the 2 outside dining areas. A gardener comes weekly.
Casa Colorada itself is roughly 500 square feet of enclosed space. It has a palapa roof, a large primary bedroom, a half bath inside with a gorgeous private shower just outside. The second bedroom has a private entrance. The living room and kitchen share a common space. Use of the air conditioning is available for an additional fee. Vonage for calls to the USA and Canada are free. A second phone is available for local calls. DSL is provided for internet access with your own laptop . Wifi and/or ethernet connection can be used.
The property is very conveniently located. Restaurants, shopping, and the beach are all a short walk. All key services are accessible on foot, so a rental vehicle is not necessary from this location. Casa Colorada is ideally suited for an individual, or couple looking for an affordable week or month long getaway spot. DSL internet and Vonage phone service help make this retreat a place to get away from it all, yet still be able to be connected to your family, friends, or business
