Residencias Reef is a new luxury resort of privately owned condominiums.
- Located on San Francisco Beach (9 miles south of Cozumel's only town, San Miguel). The most beautiful beach on Cozumel, stretching for miles so you can walk or jog as long as you like.

Our condo is in Building 2 on the second floor (out of 3 floors). It's a spacious 1,800 square foot unit with direct views of the beach, Caribbean Ocean and pool from the adjoining patios off of the living room and master bedroom.
2 BEDROOMS/2 BATHROOMS
Each of the 2 bedrooms has a king-size bed. Each bedroom also has a separate AC unit to control your own room temperature. The master bedroom has a private bath with tub/shower and a pull-out loveseat - perfect for small children. The second bedroom has a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
LIVING AREA
The living area has a pull-out sofa, two large rattan cushioned chairs and an entertainment center with a TV (dish network), DVD and CD player.
KITCHEN/DINING
Full kitchen with granite counter tops and 3 seagrass barstools and a glass dining room table with 6 seagrass woven chairs.
PATIO
The covered patio has a large table with 4 chairs and 4 additional sling-back chairs. Perfect for dining outdoors!
The beach has palapas and chaise lounges so there's plenty of shade to relax and read your favorite book. There also are two swimming pools - one an infinity pool located on the beach (great ocean views!), and the other pool more secluded with views of the ocean and gardens.
MEALS
There are two grocery stores in town and you will find mostly U.S. brands but it's fun to try local brands as well. Mega has great seafood that's reasonably priced. Chedraui is a bit less expensive. Both stores carry everything you will need (alcohol, sundries, fruits/veggies, etc.)
You can walk down the beach to Carlos & Charlie's for lunch, snacks or sunset drinks. The Wyndam resort next door offers day passes to our guests which includes meals, beverages, evening entertainment and sports.
Arrangements can be made to hire an inhouse cook.
SITE/ACTIVITIES
- Take a trip to the other side of the island to enjoy the secluded beaches. There are many restaurants along the drive. Coconuts (for lunch) and Chen Rio (for swimming and refreshments) are two of our favorite spots.
- If you're interested in Mayan culture, visit San Gervasio, a recently unearthed and restored archaeological site.
- San Miguel, Cozumel's only town, has a large range of restaurants and plenty of shops. A passenger ferry to Playa del Carmen is a short 40 minute trip where you can have lunch and shop.
- Chankanaab, a few miles north of Residencias Reef, is a National underwater park. You can even swim with the dolphins and it offers great snorkeling.
- There's a Jack Nicklaus golf course just north of town, about 20 minutes from the condo.
- Head to the Money Bar (2 miles north, on the beach) on Friday/Sat/Sun evenings for happy hour and listen to the live band. Great place to watch the sunset and kick up your heels with live music.
