I know our family wouldn't have enjoyed our time together without the luxury of this home. The spacious kitchen, big dining table, separate rooms, big backyard, and kid friendly environment were just what we needed! We'll definitely rent it again for our next visit and we've already recommended it to several other friends.

Our group included all ages from senior down to infant and everything in between. Everyone was comfortable in the house! It was so clean I felt comfortable letting the baby crawl on the floor. There were lots of toys and games and family friendly movies. Plenty of linens were provided. The Pack n Play worked unlike another place we stayed. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything had all their parts. I thought it was really cool that the bedroom with all the bunkbeds had stuffed animals. Backyard was a great place to play for the kids. All in all, I loved that everyone was comfortable and our needs were met. I was able to relax and not worry about keeping the kids safe in an unfamiliar place. The gates at the top and bottom of the stairs were especially appreciated. The weather was mild while we were there, but the nights got chilly outside and the afternoons were kind of hot outside. We were comfortable inside the whole time though. I really loved that we would have needed 3 hotel rooms for our group, yet spent less than 2 rooms would have cost us and still had the kitchen, living areas, ping pong in the garage and a huge back yard to play in. We never had to eat out which was much less expensive and healthier. Not to mention less stressful than keeping up with kids in a restaurant after a long drive! Oh, and we knew there was wifi, but were surprised they even had a computer there that we could use. We never did so I can't say if it works well, but those are the kind of thoughtful additions that made this house an exceptionally nice stay. We will be looking to see if this property is available next time we travel to CO Springs!

The house was so nice for a group of 10 students (6 girls, 4 boys) and 4 adults. We were able to hang out and cook dinner as a group for an evening. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

I thought there would be full size trash bags and enough TP but there was not. I am new at house stays, I was comparing it to a motel stay. Overall it meet my expectations!
Owner response:We were privileged to have you and your group and are pleased to hear that it met your expectations. A starter supply of various items are there and outlined in our email for customers before their visit. This starter supply is the industry standard which allows for lower nightly rates and customer choice versus everyone paying for guests that utilize a lot of supplies.

We stayed at this wonderful house for a family wedding in Colorado Springs for a week. There were 11 of us total 6 adults and 5 kids under 9. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids were entertained by the toys, large backyard and the pingpong table. There was also a large selection of movies for us and the kids to watch. The house is near almost every store possible in Colorado Springs as well as next to a mall. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. We had a wonderful time in your home! Thank you! A perfect place to stay!
Owner response:It was a great to provide the home to your wedding party. We are also glad that the movies, mall down the street, ping pong table and neighborhood all helped entertain your group.

We traveled to CO with our children and grandchildren to attend a family wedding in Manitou Springs. We didn't really have any difficulty finding the location, but maybe the house on the corner of Briargate & Gibralter could trim it's tree limb so as not to obscure the street sign? :) We really enjoyed having a nice sized kitchen where we could cook together and be relaxed rather than go out to eat all the time. Eating out is not practical with five children 10 and under! The bonus for cooking was that the cupboards had extra spices and other ingredients. Truly helped with the shopping- which was nice and close. We liked being able to be seated together for meals at the table, which is unusual. Two bedrooms up, two bedrooms down, and a bathroom on each level worked well for us as did having laundry access. We slept in a very comfortable king bed in the upstairs master. Our adult children slept in the other two full/queen beds and stated they were well used. We really appreciated the foldout single to accomodate our third small child who just isn't ready for a top bunk yet. The patio and back yard were so relaxing, and the neighborhood was quiet. It was super hot the afternoon we arrived, but then the weather broke and we spent lots of mornings and evenings outside. We enjoyed downtown Manitou, which was new to us, Garden of the gods as usual, and traveled to the Royal Gorge.
Owner response:We are glad your wedding trip went well. It has been our privilege to have multiple wedding groups, family reunions and other folks with special occasions.

My family (2 adults, 2 daughters ages 5 & 8) flew out to Colorado for the U.S. Women's Open at The Broadmoor where I had signed up to be a volunteer marshal. I searched for a home to rent that we could afford AND would meet our needs- not always easy in today's economy. This home had it all- comfort, location, amenities, games/toys, bunkbeds for kids, wireless internet, and a great owner to work with. Everything was clean and ready for use. When we go back to Colorado Springs, I will surely reserve this home if it's available!
Owner response:Lynn, it was great having you and your family. We are glad you had a great time.

We had 9 in our group, and we all were so happy with the home. The kids loved the movies downstairs, and the adults loved the backyard with grill and patio furniture. The home was easy to find and the bedding was very comfortable. Thank you for making our time in Colorado so pleasant!
Owner response:A great place for kids and families: Thank you Sherri. It's fun to hear how kids and families enjoy their time in a private backyard, a safe, convenient setting and a home big enough to be together and laid out well to also provide private spaces to relax, rest or enjoy your personal entertainment choices.

The best feature of this home was that it was located just a few miles from the Air Force Academy south gate. We had just a 10 minute drive to the gate and during graduation week this is a big help. It is in a residential neighborhood. If you want that hideaway in the woods feel this is not it. If you want convenience to the AFA and a 5 minute drive to the shopping on Academy, etc. this is a great choice. While the house could sleep 14 with children, we had 7 adults and that felt full. There are 2 bathrooms and if everyone has to get to an event at the same time coordinating more than the group we had seems like it would be challenging. The house is a split level so there are stairs up to the main level and down to the family room, 2 bedrooms, a bath and laundry. This layout was nice because it gave us room to spread out. Upstairs was the living room/dining room/kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a shared bath. We had an elderly family member with us and the stairs were challenging for her but having her stay on the upper level allowed her to do the stairs just when we were coming and going as her bedroom was on the same level as the kitchen/LR/DR. It was crazy weather (some hail, some rain, some thunder/lightening, some sun) so we didn't really use the backyard but there is lots of space. We had a BBQ after commissioning and the house is roomy enough that having to gather indoors due to weather worked out fine. As most Air Force parents will find out grad week is a balance of almost non stop exciting events and running around helping your soon to be 2LT pack up 4 years of stuff and do the paperwork to get signed out. Being close for those dashes back and forth and having a house to sort and organize was great. The house was clean and well stocked for cooking. Though we had no young children, the house is fully prepared with a baby gate on the stairs, toys, etc. All in all we were very happy with our choice.
Owner response:Accommodating and a great value: It has been a joy to have this fine family and many AFA families in our home through the years. Our close proximity to the AFA gate combined with a safe and convenient location has served them well during graduation, family weekends, football games and just fun times at places like the Garden of the Gods. Logistically, we continue to try to make practical positive changes to make your stay as comfortable, stress free and reasonable. The following are some recent changes we've made to accommodate the possibility of a larger number of guests trying to get ready at a similar time is the following: we've added additional mirrors in each room, we've worked to be able to keep rates low for large groups needing to sleep and dine 14.

We are from the east coast, and visited friends from the area. We were able to gather comfortably in this spot as we wandered off to explore the beautiful scenery. We visited the Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Air Force Academy, the Cog Railway on Pikes Peak, and Cripple Creek... all within quick trips from the house. I would certainly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area. It was very comfortable, and in a very quiet neighborhood. Loved the house... loved visiting Colorado Springs!
Owner response:A safe and convenient location: Thank you Terri. It has been a joy to have this fine group and many others in our vacation home through the years. Our close proximity to all things in Colorado Springs make it a great springboard for exploration.

With a son at the Academy, we spend a lot of time in Colorado Springs. We have stayed in this beautiful home several times a year and each time it is like coming home. It is so nice to fix a home cooked meal for our son and his cadet friends and have enough room for everyone to spread out and play games and watch movies. Don't ever want to stay in a hotel. We are spoiled by this wonderful home.
Owner response:Categorically different than a hotel: Thank you Cindy. In a hotel you never know if your 280 sq. feet are going to be next to a rowdy group. This cozy home allows you to control noise and entertain the way you desire.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful, great for our kids both big and small. The kitchen was a pleasure to work in and there was plenty of space for everyone. It is located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to shopping and city access roads. We would welcome an opportunity to come back again.
Owner response:A great place for special occasions: When you are celebrating a holiday, reunion, wedding or another special occasion, we suggest that you don’t leave it up to a hotel which could partner you next to an all night partier. We would welcome your business.

My family of 9 adults & 4 children as well as a family friend came into town for my wedding. This home was a great place to stay in order for us all to be together before the wedding. The home has all the ammeneties of my own home. Way better than staying in a hotel. I would definately consider this home again if the need ever would arise again.
Owner response:Professionally decorated: The home’s design has thought through both the big items and the small touches. Time to be together in a home as family and friends is such a special time and we are so glad it worked so well for your group of 13.

We met up with some friends for a wedding and rented this home. It was awesome! The house was very spacious, centrally located and affordable. I really appreciated the large kitchen, huge dining room table, garage w/ping pong table, charcoal bbq, two bathrooms and TV's everywhere. The owner called us the day after arrival to make sure we were doing okay and found everything we needed. If you're looking for a home to rent, this is a good one. The only suggestion I would make is more adult games (such as Scrabble or Apples to Apples) but if we thought we'd have time to play group games we would've packed one or two. I'm very thankful we found this home. This is the 2nd time we've rented from VRBO and so far we're 2 for 2 on having a good experience.
Owner response:Entertainment (TVs and games) everywhere: We’ve worked hard to provide 5 TVs (4 with independent receivers to be able to watch whatever you want) and lots of games. We are glad these worked so well for your group.

We were a group of 11. The place is great for tourists and exactly as described. I was originally a bit skeptical about it really sleeping 14, but there are enough beds. (Queen bed sleeps 2). There are bunker beds, so the kids will love it. All the beds were neatly made and the linens were very clean. The property is well maintained. There is a decent collection of DVD's and for avid readers, several novels and books. The place has easy access to eateries, Walmart and other grocery stores. There are several tourist attractions (Pikes peak, Seven falls, Garden of gods) within 30 mins drive. Royal Gorge is just over an hour. The owner is pleasant and courteous and did check on us during our stay. There is a TT table, poker chips and other board games for some fun activity during the night. The backyard is also well maintained, though we did not use it much. It is reasonably priced. If there was one more bathroom, it would have been great. For groups of 10 or more, 2 bath is a bit tight. Everything else is great, would definitely recommend!
Owner response:A safe location: If you are considering a vacation rental home, make sure you the check independent safety information on the location of any property you consider. Doesn't hesitate to contact us for details if needed.

We stayed 10 days (myself, my wife, and 2 children). The house was wonderful. Large back yard, ping pong table in the garage, and more bedrooms than we knew what to do with. The kitchen is spaceous and well laid out. The location is great. 5 minutes from Briargate. I reccomend this house.
Owner response:Glad to have extended stay guests: When you are away from your home for a longer period of time it is good to be able to relax in another home's atmosphere versus the challenges of cramped spaces and loud hall mates.

The property was beautiful, located in a quiet suburban area but close to the shopping mall, Supermarkets and lots of restaurants. The Kitchen was spacious, it allowed for more than one person to be cooking at the same time. The dining area seated all 12 of us with two extra chairs to spare. The upstairs area design had an open space concept, which allowed for a great flow. The bedrooms were well furnished; we were even surprised to have chocolate on our linens as a welcome treat. In addition to the grill at the huge backyard, the fire pit in the backyard was great for making smores with the kids. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy. There is a ping-pong table in the garage which we enjoyed using every day. The owner Allysia was wonderful; she called to make sure that all of our needs were met. I would highly recommend this home and if I return again next year to Colorado, I will definitely stay here again.
Owner response:Convenient and safe location: Within five miles from the home there are over 50 nationally recognized restaurants, Cottonwood creek park and lots of CO to see. We look forward to having you and your family back next month Javier.

The house was very clean and comfortable for a crowd. It was very easy to find. Restaurants and shopping are very close by. The two separate living room areas was great. The kids could have one and the older adults could have theirs. The fire pit in the backyard was great for making smores with the kids. Very pretty backyard just for the kids to play outdoors. We would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:A private backyard you’ll enjoy: The backyard is a great, large, private place for enjoying a bug-free, very-low-humidity CO setting, making outside settings another living and eating space.

My wife and 2 teenagers just spent 5 very enjoyable days in George & Allysia's lovely house. It's in a quiet suburban area quite near the Air Force Academy, but still very close to a shopping mall and lots of restaurants. The living area is huge, with loads of space. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy. There's even a ping-pong table in the garage which we enjoyed using every day. George & Allysia also provided a laptop which made checking flights and looking up local restaurants a breeze. The house makes a good base from which to explore the surrounding sights, as it's only about 2 miles from the intersection with I25. We did the Royal Gorge, Seven falls, Pikes Peak, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods , and the Castle Rock Outlets in the 5 days we were there. There's loads of restaurants to choose from. The Texas Roadhouse was probably the kids favourite (a bit loud, but good fun). We liked to play mini-golf after dinner, so if your into that, the best one we found was Adventure Mini-Golf on Corporate Drive (turn left after Woodmen Rd goes under the I25) A great place to spend a week! Thanks.
Owner response:A great jumping off point for all things CO: Whether you are visiting the Garden of the Gods, shopping, the Cliff Dwellings, Pikes Peak or many other sensational CO spots - the home is a very convenient and stress-free place to start.

This home is very nice and comfortable, It looks just like the pictures. Very close to everything in Colorado Springs. We had 7 adults 3 children and an infant during our stay and we were not crowded and the kids felt right at home with the toys, books and movies. The floor plan is great you won't feel crowded, we even cooked out one night and had a family meal at the large dining room table. I would highly recommend this home, I have to admit I was sceptical about finding a home on line, but Allysia was very comforting for me to work with and she made sure to accomidate us in our every needs. Because of her and this beautiful home we had a fabulous vacation in Colorado Springs. I would highly recommend this home.
Owner response:Even for the skeptical: Whether this is your first time using a vacation home or a long-time consumer, this home is a product that lives up to its billing. The fact that the home is professionally decorated and managed combined with a safe and convenient location.

This home was very comfortable! It was roomy and had a homey yet hotel like contemporary feel. My family gathered here for Christmas and we were able to all eat Christmas dinner at the table. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The fireplace and TV's added to the home atmosphere. The location is perfect for shopping and sight seeing. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Colorado Springs.
Owner response:Contemporary feel recommended to anyone: The professionally decorated feel extends to the furnishings, renovations and well beyond. This factor is often overlooked in the decision making process, but never under appreciated once it has been experienced.
