Beautiful, new, comfortable house on exclusive Granite Point in southern Maine. With reverse living, your living area is upstairs to capture the views to the water. One bath and bedroom upstairs with a full size bed. Three bedrooms are downstairs including the master bedroom and bath, a third bath and laundry. Also included is a two car garage, automatic garage doors and and a mud room area.
A beautiful ocean view can be enjoyed on the wrap around deck and from ocean facing rooms, enjoy comfortable outside seating, a new gas grill,and an outside shower with hot and cold water. Listen to the waves crashing or watch the moon rise over the ocean.
Granite Point is an unique setting, surrounded by water on three sides. Only a short walk to a sandy beach on one side or a boat launch for boating and kayaking off the point on the other side. Off the rocks or from the shoreline the cove beaches offer great fishing for striper or shelling and beachcombing. Granite Point is a great location for walks and children's biking, or for the more accomplished biker, walker or runner the entire area offers great scenic routes.
Just a short drive off the point to a fantastic beach available to guests via a pass for a small fee paid for at the town hall. Many guests do this in advance. This is a beautiful 3 mile beach that is sought after by sunbathers, surfers and boogie boarders alike. This is a life guarded beach. Bring your bocce ball set or paddle balls or just relax on this expansive beach to the sound of breaking waves.
You are only 25 min south of Portland, which offers great restaurants and nightlife. You are 25 minutes from Old Orchard Beach which offers an amusement park for children, access to the beach, a boardwalk and nightlife for adults. You are north of Portsmouth NH which offers small shops and area craftsman and it's own nightlife. The restaurants feature great Maine seafood and other native dishes. Don't miss out on Maine lobster or Maine gulf shrimp.
For the shopper, you may choose to enjoy Kittery outlets or go north to the Freeport outlets home to LL Bean. The deals are unbeatable. Again, they also offer a memorable dining experience.
You can book a whitewater rafting trip down the Kennebec River or a day of tubing on the Saco River. There are water slides and a water park north on route 1. If the Sea Dogs are in town you may enjoy a game in Portland. The cinema in town offers dinner as you watch the movie, get there early for a good table. There is golf in town and mini-golf nearby. For the young at heart, and for an unforgettable experience, sign up for surf camp or a lesson from the nearby surf shop.

We love the laid back feeling in Maine. No traffic, no hurry. The beach nearby is great for young children and walks. The nearby 3 mile beach is perfect for long walks, swimming, surfing and boogie boarding. The seafood is terrific. Lots to do as a family.
