Once known as "The Duck Club" this property was cherished by turn-of-the-century sportsmen. Tucked away in the heart of wine country, it is the perfect romantic getaway to the Santa Ynez Valley.

You arrive via a vineyard, then cross a country bridge to discover panoramic views of the surrounding area. The property overlooks thousands of acres of majestic mountains, duck ponds, grazing horses, and vineyards. Ancient oaks punctuate the lushly planted pastures that leads to the duck ponds. It is easy to ride, hike, and/or bike to the nearby trails.

Created as a vintage barn, The Duck Club Retreat boasts 200 year-old beams, luxury wood finishes, fine metal work, a huge rock fireplace, and beautiful outdoor living areas. The kitchen is designed with the gourmet chef in mind, and has all the amenities one would expect. Or don't bother cooking, and call our Private Chef to arrange and prepare your fine meals.

The large, single room structure has been divided into 2 sleeping areas, a spacious dining and living area, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and the fantastic kitchen with dining counter. Outside is an expansive sandstone patio with built in BBQ, gas fire pit, and comfortable outdoor furnishings.

The property is centrally located to Santa Ynez, Solvang, Los Olivos, and several vineyards. The local gourmet store, El Rancho Market, is a 2 minute drive, or 10 minute walk away. It has an amazing selection of local wines, a fantastic deli, sushi bar, coffee house, and aisles of delicious and rare food items. They also offer catering services.
