The secluded cabin is nestled about four miles from the original old ranch house of the Hailstone Ranch, one of the oldest and most established cattle ranches in the Yellowstone Country, extending over 11,500 acres. Annie’s story from Robert Redford’s film “The Horse Whisperer” inspired us to offer our private cabin to people who want to relax completely. The Hailstone Ranch can be seen in Redford’s film. It is the backdrop scene in which Annie is on her way to Tom Booker’s ranch, where they meet for the first time.

Lying in the Crazy Mountains at a height of 6200 ft., the story how the cabin came into being is quite simple. It was the strong desire of stressed-out individuals seeking an untouched retreat in Montana’s natural wilderness. They wanted to be free and sought a positive counterpoint to their hectic professional lives.
