We had a fantastic time and everything exceeded our expectations! You are awesome hosts and the ranch is a true western treasure. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Lee, particularly over dinner, hearing stories and the history of your ranch, which is fascinating! The trip was a total success! Thank you again for everything. You are both truly lucky to be able to wake every morning to such a place.

All we can say is WOW! and THANKS! Our stay was perfect-the location of both cabins are unbelievably breathtaking and so peaceful! The right place to relax and enjoy life. The furniture is unique, very special and so cozy! The cabins are more like a home. We always love to sit on the deck and watch all the differant types of wildlife. There are great walking trails nearby, private fishing access to the Big Timber Creek with its beautiful waterfall, scenic panoramas everywhere! Barbara and Lee really take a lot of care to provide a welcoming environment! We cannot wait to come back next year!
Owner response:Thank you very much! It is very important for us that our guests have a great time in the cabins and on our property. Barbara & Lee

Thank you for another memorable trip to The Crazy Mountain Hideaway Cabin. Your kindness makes one feel right at home on your wonderful ranch. This year two new people came out with me to the cabin. When I drove back to the cabin and parked my truck, they both got out and just stood at the gate in disbelief of how wonderful the cabin was! After I opened the door and they went in, one of my friends said, it was like being at a 5 Star Resort and if could come back next year. Thanks again for all, Lee and Barbara.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin very much! It was so much fun being way out away from everything with just us. We loved the scenery, the coziness and just having our time together to play board games and read. We all agreed when we were driving away that we would love to return for another stay. Thanks so much for sharing your ranch.

Halfway through a stressful 10-day work tour through western Montana, we spent a few days decompressing in the Crazy Mountains with Barbara and Lee. The location was perfection, the cabin comfortable and efficient, and we recharged for the rest of our trip. If you want to escape the "real world," this is the place to do it! Don't forget to give Nellie (the collie) a big hug!
Owner response:Gail and Ken, thanks for being such wonderful guests in our cabins! We cannot wait to see you again. Which cabin will it be the next time, the Hideaway or the Ranchcabin? Barbara and Lee

A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN Lee & Barbara I want to take this time to extend thoughts of gratitude. Your ranch rests in some of the most beautiful country in the world! In the middle of this wilderness sits a cozy cabin. The cabin is situated so as to give great access to any adventure such as hiking, fishing, hunting or just relaxing on the porch with a good book. Our time exploring your little piece of heaven was great and I want to say thanks!

Lee and Barbara, I wanted to take time and thank both of you for a Montana trip that my friends and I will never forget. The Hideaway Cabin was truly like staying in a mountain paradise. We were pleased to hear that you were able to book us again for the 2010 season. I even have had some friends ask about 2011.

Our 2nd vacation at the cabin and we couldn’t get there fast enough. I just love the hand-crafted log furniture in the cabin. I feel so at home here. After only a couple days of enjoying the beautiful scenery, the fresh air and the peace & quiet I felt so rested & relaxed. I took hundreds of pictures this trip also but they just don’t do justice to the area. Lee & Barbara are such great people and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. We feel as though we have friends for life in Lee & Barbara. If seclusion & nature at its best is what you are looking for, the Crazy Mountain Hideaway Cabin is for you. Once again our 3 week vacation came to an end & home to Florida we went. I’m already trying to decide when to return to the Crazies.

My daughter and I have had the best Cowgirl vacation in our life! Beautiful big cabin, unique bedrooms - and so cozy - breathtaking surroundings. We loved all! It's a real paradise and the best place for stressed-out people. Thanks for showing us the wonderful wedding mountain. We'll never forget our great ATV rides, adventure pure.

Over the past years, we have spent three vacations at the Crazy Mountain Hideaway Cabin, and have enjoyed every single one. The cabin is ideally situated in the middle of the mountains surrounded by fir trees and close to the Amelong Creek. After only a few hours there, my husband and I forget all the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. The drive up the mountains is beautiful, the majestic mountains are breathtaking, and we always enjoy the view of the wide prairies on our drive up to the cabin. The interior of the cabin is beautifully decorated, with cozy log-style furniture and antiques combined with hand-made pieces. The cabin has all you need to make your stay comfortable: A fully equipped kitchen, a convenient bathroom with tub and shower, a covered porch with a gorgeous view of the surrounding hills and a picnic table for outdoor meals. There is also an additional deck leading to the third bedroom with a separate entrance. The cabin is extremely clean and decorated in the most adorable way. You will even find pretty candle holders in big glass containers on the walls. This cabin is the most romantic get-away we have ever experienced, and we can't wait to return this year!

Arriving in Montana was just a wonderment of GOD'S creation: Truly the BIG SKY Country. Lee and Barbara, the owners, expected us and we followed them up the mountain road to the Crazy Mountain Hideaway Cabin, about four miles from the ranch house. What a ride - due to the melting snow a little bit muddy, but really breathtaking: THE CABIN AND SURROUNDINGS LOOKED LIKE A POST CARD PICTURE! The cozy cabin was just great! It was just as the website described.....only better! We loved the wood burning stove for heat (remember we're from Florida). The first couple days into our stay it snowed. It was the first time we had seen snow in at least ten years. Oh how I remembered...more wood for the fire. We even built a snowman. Later we rented 4wheelers and toured the land. One could ride forever and still be on the beautiful Hailstone Ranch. Our stay was just the best relaxation of my body and mind. All good things come to an end, so after one of the best times in my LIFE, we flew back to Florida. Plans to return were already being made.
