Year Round Home, 3 Bedrooms and bunk area, 1-1/2 bath. The home will Sleep 8 comfortably on 1-queen and 6 twin beds. Just ahead of the Rainy River and locally known as Houska's Pt, the home is fully furnished with great amenities. Completely updated and remodeled in 2007, we have a great sand beach adjacent to the cabin and on-site private dock space for 3- 16 ft boats or 2-20 ft boats. We enjoy grilling on the deck everyday we can as it points to the west and north across the Canadian border. We truly believe you'll love this location.
Fishing for walleyes, black crappies and northern pike in Rainy Lake's 225,000 acres (1,600 islands) should keep you busy, but the local shops, golf course or hiking trails can indeed fix what ails you. Boats and fishing guides are available.

Michele and I have 6 children together, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 28 egg laying chickens. During the week we chase anywhere from 4 to 7 ballgames and work full time jobs. Trust me....this cabin works when its time to relax. If we could be here all summer we would!
Why the Owner Chose International Falls
After traveling to most states in the US, the city of Ranier (pop 99) seems to have a charm that is truly hard to find. Its a train stop prior to entering Canada , a resort community, a historical trading stop, and a fishing outpost. After visiting the area for years we saw an opportunity in this home and have made it our own.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Fishing with friends and and family has always been number one but the kids like the town and simply getting away so we've taken the time to get to know the area a little more. With a huge group of friends we seldom travel here without company. The house will sleep 8 comfortably with room for a tent on the lawn. We have had as many as twelve(6-12-10)and all good.

Great place with character! Having never been to Rainier I was pleasantly surprised by its simplicity. I read two books, took a kayak on the lake, and sat on the dock.. ...for 3 days!!! They say its great fishing.
