Built on the campus of Old Camp Miramichee, my charming but simple, newly renovated, air conditioned three bedroom, one bath cabin has a full bath, a fully equipped kitchen, and sleeping space for 6 in three full sized beds. Nearby, within a 3 minute walk, is the Southfork of the Spring River just down from Low Water Bridge. Campers from Old Camp Miramichee are all too familiar with the early morning swims in the refreshing waters of the Spring River. If you love canoeing, the Southfork and the Spring River with its Class II, Class III rapids, s-curve shoots, and some three foot falls is the place to be. A Canoe trip on the Southfork or on the Spring River itself provides a great escape into nature and an exciting ride. All you anglers, the Spring River is noted for its plenteous rainbow trout! Nothing like fresh fish for supper! You would rather play golf or tennis? Those venues are close by. Are antiques your weakness? Hardy is your bit of heaven as antique stores abound in the Old Hardy Town. And talk about food? Try Biggers Bluff, Carol's Lakeview Restaurant, Meacham's, the Chuck Wagon and Down Home Country Cooking Restaurant. Don't miss the Hardy Malt Shoppe or Naleen's Candy Shoppe---It's Good!
Lest you think that Hardy is way off the beaten track, please realize that creature comforts are also available... some of these are.. McDonalds, Sonic Drive In, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and Kentucky Fried and lest I forget.. there is a Wal-Mart Super Center too! There's lots of places to go, things to do and see.. and also the ability to just sit, relax and just be! Come to Hardy, come to the Ozarks; Come relax in my cabin!

Our stay at this cabin could not have been better, everything was just as advertised. The cabin is close to fishing and a nice little swimming hole. The ladies in charge did everything in their power to make sure we had a perfect stay and didn't dissappoint. There is a new zipline park directly across the street, and several good suggestions for meals the cabins guest book. Overall I would reccomend this cabin for a good time escaping it all.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

on the south fork & close to spring river. well furnished & clean cabin for the family. close to town & shopping. would recomend to family & friends. thanks for a great impression of hardy. was our first time to visit & will return soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This little cabin was perfect for our floating needs on the nearby Spring River. The owner accomdated our needs and was very helpful despite the last-minute nature of our plans. I would definitely rent this property again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The cabin was just as described, there was plenty of room, the cabin was clean, the beds all comfortable and fresh. It was a just the place for my sister's and I to have our reunion. The food in town was really great! We ate breakfast at Fredricks and it was wonderful!!!! All you can eat too!!! I can't remember the name of the store in town, but it was a two story, we went in there and went up stairs and had our fortune read and that was really neat!!! I believe the man really can read those cards!! He told us things about our lives that I KNOW he knew nothing about! Yes, we enjoyed the cabin and the town very much! I would recommend staying there. Owner is nice and helpful too!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I come to Hardy to get away from the rat race of everyday life. To relax and just be...which takes many forms including a Canoe trip on the River, sitting by the river and enjoying the serenity and quiet, reading a book or taking a refreshing swim. I have friends who love to fish in the River and generally come home with supper. Going to Old Hardy Town is always a highlight and no visit to Hardy is complete without a visit to the Malt Shoppe or Naleens. Carol's Lakeside has great food and plenteous desserts even for those who are on sugar restricted diets.
