Guests can enjoy a crackling fire in the living room wood fireplace, soak in the outdoor hot tub or nestle in smaller, private nooks of the house for relaxation after a day on the slopes in nearby (appx.50 minutes) Snowmass, Aspen, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands or Glenwood Springs.
Glenwood Springs is only 40 minutes away with its famous hot springs swimming pool and spas, restaurants and shopping. The artistic and historic town of Redstone is walking distance from the house along the Crystal River and has several wonderful restaurants available. In the summer, there are numerous golf courses in the area to choose from as well as hiking, camping and a local hot springs pool just minutes away.

This is our family's vacation home that we have been enjoying for 7 years now. We have enjoyed vacations in the Snowmass Village area and have always had a desire to own a home on a river with the sounds of the rushing water nearby. This is our dream house and we would love to share it with others when we are not able to be there ourselves.

Some of the unique benefits we enjoy while staying here are the beautiful view of the mountains from our covered back porch, the sound of rushing waters nearby from the Crystal River and also Hawk Creek, fly-fishing from our property, hiking, snow-shoeing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, snow skiing in nearby Snowmass Village or Glenwood Springs, the wonderful historic town of Redstone in walking distance, the town of Marble which has the pure white marble quarry of the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, fabulous restaurants in nearby Redstone, Carbondale, Basalt, Aspen and Glenwood Springs and several golf courses to chose from.

Wonderful Redstone property within walking distance to town. I loved the privacy and listening to the rush of the Crystal river. I used to visit Redstone as a child with my sisters and Mom and Dad. I've been going up to Redstone for years but I now went back for a visit with some of my sisters, my daughter and my grandchildren. This property is close to Marble, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs. We spent our days visiting the sites and evenings at the house sitting outside on the great porch, barbecuing, sitting in the hot tub, playing on the large yard, eating on the patio. The stars are truly magnificant. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to some day return.

This is the ultimate mountain getaway home. The location is great in that you are right next to the beautiful Crystal river in a peaceful setting but close enough to Aspen to easily go into town if you desire. The property is very spacious with ALL of the amenities of home...without exception. The bedrooms are each quite nice with comfortable beds and their own baths. The kitchen is a gourmet's delight with every appliance you can imagine and plenty of room for preparing meals for a lot of folks. One of our favorite things was the wood-burning fireplace in the living room where we spent hours listening to the snap, crackle and pop of the fire and playing games on the nearby coffee table. We will definitely be back!

Your house is just fabulous! Thanks for allowing us to use it. That kitchen is amazing - I bet you could feed an army out of there. The best part, though, is the sound of rushing water all night long! Loved it!
