Enjoy our large and beautiful custom built luxury home on the water and walking distance to the beach in the center of the KEYS. We have four bedrooms, one with a king size bed, one with a trundle bed (2 twin beds), one with a queen sized bed and a futon and one with a queen sized bed. There is one living room, one family room, a large island kitchen with an adjoining dining table and stools for bar level eating. It's a very large home with marble floors throughout, fireplace, elevator, pool, Jacuzzi and a playroom.
New Luxury Home located on beautiful Sombrero Beach. Amenities in the surrounding area include fabulous fishing, kayaking, sailing, water skiing, golfing, tennis, bicycles, shopping and plenty of waterfront dining. Beach amenities include volleyball, playground for children, bar b que's, picnic tables and picturesque views of sandy beaches and breath taking sunsets. For additional entertainment, Key West is a nice coastal drive away for plenty of nightlife, famous "7 Mile Bridge" is 2 miles South or Swim with the Dolphins. If you are in the mood to exercise, there is 4 mile bike/running path just steps from the home and a treadmill in the house. Why the Owner Chose Marathon
We chose a vacation rental in the Florida Keys because of the beautiful weather and excellent fishing! The kids love the Beach and playground and my wife loves the delicious food and shopping.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This home is a short walk to the beach, a 5-minute drive to a shopping district and plenty of restaurants. For your convenience, there is a grocery store 2 miles away. If you love the outdoors, the 7 Mile Bridge is 2 miles away, enjoy jogging, swimming with the dolphins, dinner while watching the sunset, feed the tarpons, beach volleyball or just a nice bike ride or breath taking car ride. The home is located on a cul-de-sac so there is plenty of privacy for tanning or enjoying a meal on the balcony. Key West is a short 45 minute drive which makes a great day trip.

This home is even better than the pictures. Very close to everything and the beach is just steps away. The kitchen is perfect for a gourmet chef. There isn't a bad bedroom in the home and they each have there own bathroom. We would definitely come back.

This was an absolutely wonderful vacation! We enjoyed this property so much! The home is gorgeous. The pictures are great on the website, but the real thing is so much better! We had kids with us as young as 3 and as old as college age. Everyone had a great time. Sombrero Beach that is across the street (short walk) is a wonderful beach. The playground at the beach was excellent. My kids loved it! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that is thinking of taking a vacation to Marathon! I doubt you would have any regrets!

Truly a remarkable vacation in this house. The owners could not have made it any better. We had a family of 8. The house had more then enough room to go around. It was clean, well provided throughout. The decor from the front door, to the backyard was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped, viking appliances throughout. The views from all balconies and the house were breath taking. Supermarket was 1.5 miles away. My kids had a blast in the pool, shallow end and a deep end. Iguana's were spotted off the pool dock. It could of not been any better to sit off the balcony and enjoy the cool breeze. If you wanted to catch the sun rays in the backyard it was all there, or walk 2 min's to sombrero beach half a block up it was too easy. The house is very private needless to say. Palm tree's and the landscaping were top notch for this house. The owners did provide information about places to go to, places to eat. We did go fishing a few times during the week in which information was provided as well. You are right off Mile marker #50. We did drive one day to key west which was less than a hour away. We also spent a half day at the Dolphin research center which is 20 mins north. Perfect for kids. In all the house was amazing, the pictures live up to your expectations. There was only one sad part about this house, it's the day you have to start your car and drive away from it. We hope to stay there again in the future! ***** 5 STARS.

This home exceeded expectations! We did not want to leave. The home is very spacious, We had 8 people, 2 families and had plenty of room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is very well appointed, The only thing missing was a good set of knives! The pool is wonderful. It has a shallow area for wading or lounging and a deeper end for swimming. There is plenty of shade areas or sun. The front porch is great in the morning or when the sun is going down. The home is in a great location, one minute to beautiful Sombrero Beach. We rented a boat for several days and had easy access to the ocean and the gulf. We would highly recommend this home for a wonderul vacation get away. Can easily accomodate two families.

Stayed here for 10 days in March of 2011. Perfect location and great layout for a family get together. The house is better than the pictures: kitchen is huge and well equipped, bedrooms private and very comfortable. Biking, boating, fishing, outdoor dining and relaxing by the pool were all as good or better than anticipated. We'll be back!

This is an incredible home & property, beautiful marble tile floors, large bedrooms, an incredible kitchen, hot tub, heated pool, dock, etc. We stayed here with two other couples and their four kids and never once did it feel crowded. I spent several afternoons sitting on the porch in the beautiful weather just enjoying the house. Marathon island is a beautiful place to base your vacation out of as well. Sombrero beach is a simple block away, and you can fish right off the dock in the back yard. There are a lot of fun things to do on marathon including the dolphin research center and the turtle hospital.

Beautiful home located right across the street from a great beach & park. Homeowner was amazing to work with and went well above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay fabulous. House was very clean, new, and the ammenities were excellent including a gorgeous kitchen, elevator, and child proof gates blocking stairs and pool access. Pool and spa are great addition and get lots of daytime sun,and verandas are perfect for catching the evening breeze while taking in the scenery. Would rent this home again without question for a future trip to the keys!

Gorgeous home located right across the street from the best beach in the Middle Keys, Sombrero Beach. The house was impecably clean and well appointed with a beautiful kitchen and lovely bedrooms. Great home if you are traveling with young children thanks to the built in gates - also great when traveling with seniors thanks to the elevator. Pool and outdoor spa were wonderful, clean and heated with lots of sun during the daytime hours. Homeowners go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and make sure your stay is as perfect as possible. Would absolutely rent this home again for a future trip to the keys!
