Check the surf out at Fenway Beach from the front terrace then walk there in 5 minutes and dive in it. At the end of a pleasant beach day, relax on that same terrace with your refreshment in hand and watch the sun set over the beaches of Misquamicut and Watch Hill. Later, as the moon rises, wrap yourself in a blanket on the terrace and watch the frequent fireworks displays mixed with the starry night sky.
Fondly known as "The Nest" by the longtime owners, the cottage was built in 1894 as a small guest abode behind the neighboring house. Over the next 100 years it was added onto little by little. The front bedroom has a Queen size bed and private bathroom. The middle bedroom has a Queen size bed and shares a quaint bathroom adorned with a claw footed tub, with the third bedroom. The living and dining areas are combined in one space, with a bay window that looks southwest to Watch Hill.
This house is a place where generations have come to enjoy the beach and the quiet seaside community of Weekapaug. It is situated on a large private lot. There are no granite counter tops; no wall to wall carpeting, no fancy stainless steel kitchen appliances in this house. But what you will find at "The Nest" is a patina polished by time and family love.

Member of Family handling the rental of our beloved seaside cottage for a limited amount of time this year. The rest of the year, is taken by family members.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The biggest draw of the Weekapaug area, is the private Fire District beaches and seclusion. The bathing beach has some of the best surfing due to its long gradual slope out into the ocean. During peak season, there are lifeguards on duty throughout the day and security staff present checking beach users to insure that they are a part of the fire district. Beach buttons are provided at the rental for renters to use on the beach so they are known to be a part of the Fire District residents. The other beaches are lovely and wonderful to walk on, sit on, tide pool on or whatever you desire.
