Angelo, We really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home - there were wonderful views out every window, the grounds were lovely too. The house was really clean and well stocked. All of the amenities in your home were perfect and you were so wonderful to help get the TV going when we arrived. I would certainly recommend your home to my family and friends. The Outlet Shops in Kittery were wonderful, the food at Bob's Claim Shack was yummy!! We would love to go back to Maine but we will have to fly next time whew what a LONG drive. Thank you again, Terri & OlenRecommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The house was clean, well kept and a perfect location to get to Kittery Outlets or the beach. We had an excellent stay and were so happy to be able to have a fenced in location for our dog (who loved every minute of his vacation as well!). The view was spectacular and it was a great family getaway were we could bbq each night on the grill and sit outside by the firepit. My one suggestion would be to update the situation of the bedding. The mattresses were very very old and extremely uncomfortable. For such a charming, nice home the bed situation was sorely lacking! A few new, inexpensive mattresses and new linens would add to the experience and ensure return customers. I would be hesitant to come back if new mattresses for the beds and pullouts were not supplied. I am not picky by any means but these were very old and very uncomfortable!Recommended for: Pet owners.

Well, we made it back to hot, muggy Chicago! I think we're Mainers at heart. Thanks for the wonderful stay. Maybe we'll see you in the fall. . .I have a four-day weekend in October. Sincerely, Barb SchwartzDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: We love to go to this property as often as we can and when there our five favorite things to do are: 1. Eat fried clams 2. Browse the outlets 3. Visit York beach at night 4. Spend a full day at Fort Foster 5. Rest, relax and enjoy the peacefulness on the dock
Why the Owner Chose Kittery:
The location is ideal. We live year round in MA and the trip to Kittery is easy and convenient. You can be away without sitting in traffic all day to get there. Once at the property, everything is right there. Purchase steamers and lobsters just down the road at Sue's market; kayak across to Portsmouth or spend the day shopping at the Kittery Outlets. Beautiful oceanfront beaches and state parks are easy to bike to and designated bicycle lanes makes it safe. Kittery is also becoming a 'foodie destination' and is known for its natural and organic foods sold in places like Golden Harvest; Carl's meat market, and Terra Cota pasta company. Beach pea bakery and Coco Loco's are favorite spots for us.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The home is typical New England charm. The kitchen was remodeled so that all of mother nature's beauty can be celebrated. All windows allow you to see the landscaped gardens and the waterfront views. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful. Typical cottage rentals can be crowded and noisy, this property is the opposite of that. Once inside, the hardwood floors, granite fireplace and charming details instantly make you feel welcomed.
