This property includes 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, lovely great/dining room, full kitchen, upper/lower decks and a full backyard. Approximately 2100 feet of living space...plenty of room for a couple of families to enjoy. The waterfront is well protected, sandy and shallow for a good distance making it perfect for everyone...especially young children.
Enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the decks while watching for eagles, heron, loons and other creatures. Have a blast boating, tubing, jet or waterskiing, sunbathing or hiking in the nearby woods. In 10 minutes you can find great fishing, canoeing or kayaking on the pristine waters of the Ausable or Manistee rivers. Year Purchased: 2002
My husband Dave grew up spending his summers at his Grandparents cottage on Bear Lake. I grew up in the Detroit area, not knowing such crystal clear water existed anywhere in Michigan. I fell in love with Bear Lake instantly. When our family started to grow, we were fortunate enough to find our own cottage on the lake. All tolled, we've enjoyed 25 summers on Bear Lake together. We'd like to share this treasure with you.
