You will be in the middle of everything downtown. You won't even need a car, but you will have off-street parking. What you can't walk to there is a free bus (every 20 minutes) across the street. The different routes include all the slopes and the Ketchum, Sun Valley and Elkhorn area.
Condo has ground floor foyer for bikes and skies, etc. Up 19 steps is 1400 sq. ft. on one floor. Bright and cheerful - four skylights and eight floor to ceiling plate glass windows. Three decks - one off the living room and each bedroom. Electric heat controlled in each room; even the baths!
We love to cook, so we know what you need - it is in the kitchen! We have local property manager plus the owner of the sports store below is also an owner of the building - help is on the way if you know what I mean! This is a "free standing" building - two condos up and one store below.
In the morning we walk to town for a cup of "joe". Back to town for lunch and again in the afternoon to visit a pub or shop and finally in the evening for dinner. How convenient is that?

Why the Owner Chose Ketchum
Ketchun/SunValley is a world class ski resort. The elevation are high enough for good snow and low enough not to cause any breathing problems. The mountain makes snow on 60% plus of the slopes and the lifts move 24k skiers an hour - virtually no "lift lines". The area is just as popular in the summer and fall as in the winter. Area is remote enough so the small town flavor is pretty much in tact. Celebs like Ketchum because no one bothers them - and there are plenty.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We sit on the deck enjoy meals, etc. and watch the world go by up and down the valley. We catch the morning "down the valley breeze" and the "up the valley breeze" in the afternoon - we do not need air-conditioning. When the big snow comes, the snow removal equipment is on the way.
Triple A grocery store - fresh everything, including seafood, bakery and deli. Great wine selection.
High end outfitter: Cloths, fishing gear, book guides for river trips and/or fishing.

We winter in Marco Island, Fla and travel in our motorhome the rest of the time. We have been going to Ketchum for over thirty years. We try to go twice a year when it is not rented.

My family of four have rented the this property fondly referred to as "The Penthouse" for the last two summers. It is extremely comfortable and private. There are nice views of downtown and it is close to everything! The owners are so accomodating and extend such a warm welcome that we feel like family. I have used VRBO serveral times in other areas and I have never had the pleasure of dealing with such wonderful people. All of our friends we travel with have very nice accomodations and have been visiting Ketchum for years. When they saw this condo, they could not believe the value and comfort. It really has everything you need and because of the location, you get all the energy from the town! It is awesome!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.
