The resort has three swimming pools to choose from, tennis courts, gazebo and is nestled within the Daniel Boone National Forest with lots of trails for hiking or exploring. Located within 15 minutes is a 6 boat launching ramp, General Burnside State Park which boasts "2009 1st – Best Places To Play Golf Commonwealth Journal Readers Choice Award" and Burnside Marina. Within 30 minutes is Lee's Ford Marina for boat rentals, docking and a large restaurant and full service bar with a view of the marina.
