Updated with new furniture and bedding, your family will be very comfortable. Also, the home is child proofed and contains an infant bed, stroller, pack & play and security gate. The rest of the home is decorated with wildlife decor to get into the fishing or hunting mood.
The resort has three swimming pools to choose from, tennis courts, gazebo and is nestled within the Daniel Boone National Forest with lots of trails for hiking or exploring. Located within 15 minutes is a 6 boat launching ramp, General Burnside State Park which boasts "2009 1st – Best Places To Play Golf Commonwealth Journal Readers Choice Award" and Burnside Marina. Within 30 minutes is Lee's Ford Marina for boat rentals, docking and a large restaurant and full service bar with a view of the marina.

The place was a great place for our family. Everything was accessible to us and we didn't really have any major problems. This was the first time my entire family has done a trip like this, so it was quite nice to see everything ran so smoothly. The binder with all information was great, it helped us get to the store quickly and get back. We didn't have to spend most of our time looking for everything. My only suggestion would be to give the refigerator and stove an overhaul. It took so long for the food/drinks to get cold and only one burner on the stove worked at its best. We waited a while for the other burners to even get warm. We had a great time and hope to come back soon!Owner response: Thank you for the great review.
